The political establishment in Australia is not entirely stupid, they just think you are. As they lament the rise of One Nation, they pretend they don't understand it. Because if they showed us that they understand the resons, they then have to make a major admission. Hanson's rise is all their fault. Because the major parties and the faux independents have been on a unity ticket on all of the big problems they have jointly caused for decades. They can’t hide from the messes they have caused, so now they want to blame everyone else but themselves. Today, on ABC’s Insiders, Annabel Crab belled the cat, as Karvelas did the two step crab walk. Annabel correctly diagnoses the political situation here right now. It is not a love for Hanson, or One Nation that is causing the surge, but a total lack of faith in the other offerings. It almost does not matter what Hanson says or does, because her greatest strengths are that she is there, and she is not one of them. Those are enduring traits and the more the major parties hit her, the more the media carry on about her, and the more the establishment present her as a “deplorable”, the more people they will push in her direction. It is like they are in quicksand... the more they struggle, the deeper they sink. People are growing ready for wild political change. A worsening economy and a growing collapse in social cohesion has put the nation on edge. The big end of town want to pretend everything will be fine when the latest special envoy delivers their newest report, but nothing changes. Nothing changes because nothing is supposed to change. Because the government, the opposition and their Green Teal cheer squads want things just the way they are. They didn’t just pass all of the enabling legislation for no reason. There are real beneficiaries of these things, it is just that none of the beneficiaries are the Australian people. Australians have broadly been the target of the changes made to benefit foreign interests, the political class and major corporations. We have been targeted for so long it is impossible not to feel the cross-hairs of the scope resting on our forehead. Hanson and her team simply have to talk about that feeling... they don’t even have to have a solution. Because when the establishment continues to pretend the problems don't exist, just acknowledging the pain is enough to earn a vote. Annabel nails this sentiment in just a few words. Right as Karvelas changes the subject, because it is not that this isn’t obvious, it is because Karvelas is there to cover it up, and hit Hanson’s credibility again. Fuelling the vicious cycle of the rise of the outsider. Unless something significant changes in the establishment, and I don’t expect it will, there will be major upheaval at the next election. Most people will not be voting for their favourite party or person, they will primarily be voting against the status quo, because in their minds, it could not possibly be worse than what we have experienced for decades... but it just might be a little bit better. And that is a risk worth taking. After all most of us like a punt. I just want Australia back.

This Chinese developer launched Llama 70B locally on a MacBook on a plane and for a full 11 hours without internet ran client projects. He was sitting by the window on a transatlantic flight with a MacBook Pro M4 with 64 GB of memory. WiFi on board cost $25 for the flight. He declined. No cloud API, no connection to Anthropic or OpenAI servers, no internet at all. Just a local Llama 3.3 70B on bf16 and his own orchestrator script. The model runs through llama.cpp. Generation speed, 71 tokens per second. Context around 60,000 tokens. Memory usage, 48.6 GiB out of 64. Battery at takeoff, 3 hours 21 minutes. And he gave the orchestrator this system prompt before takeoff: "You are an offline orchestrator running on a single MacBook. There is no network. The only resources you have are local files in /Users/dev/work, the Llama 70B inference server at localhost:8080, and a battery budget of 3 hours 21 minutes. Process the queue at /Users/dev/work/queue.jsonl (one client task per line). For each task: draft → run local evals → save artefact to /Users/dev/work/done/. Save context checkpoints every 12 tasks so you can resume after a battery swap. Stop only on empty queue or when battery drops below 5%." So the system knows exactly what resources it is running on. It knows it has no connection to the outside world for the next 11 hours. It knows it has finite memory and a finite battery. It knows the human will not intervene until the plane lands. The system runs in 1 loop. Takes a task from the queue, runs it through inference, saves the artifact, writes a checkpoint. Task after task, just like that. And only when the battery drops below 5% does the orchestrator automatically pause, waits for the laptop to switch to the backup power bank, and continues from the last checkpoint. Here is what the system actually writes in his log during the flight: "saved context checkpoint 8 of 12 (pos_min = 488, pos_max = 50118, size = 62.813 MiB)" "restored context checkpoint (pos_min = 488, pos_max = 50118)" "prompt processing progress: n_tokens = 50 / 60 818" "task 37016 done | tps = 71 s tokens text → /Users/dev/work/done/proposal_westside.md" Outside the window, clouds, blue sky, and no WiFi. On the tray, 1 MacBook, an open terminal on 2 screens, and an inference server on localhost. From what I have observed, this is the cleanest offline AI workflow I have seen in the past year: 11 hours of flight, $0 for WiFi, and the entire client queue closed before landing.

Legacy Media Once Again Flails With 'Fake News' on Trump Planning to Name WH Ballroom After Himself | Becca Lower, RedState When I first read this legacy media story about the ballroom being built at the White House on Friday evening, my first reaction was: "so, what?" I'll get to that in a minute. Incredible that this is still a story, but this is what the legacy media has devolved into. Little more than a weekly rag-level of reporting. The fact that Democrats have previously done extensive construction on the WH has barely fazed them. Notice how little interest they have shown for actual news about the renovation. I first wrote on the ballroom story in Aug., when President Trump took a stroll on the roof with the architect: On Friday, we learned in a piece by my colleague Brandon Morse that the WH shared a list of the donors who are paying for the massive ballroom addition. Here's the latest example of the old media forces of Fourth Estate continuing to underwhelm with their lack of professionalism. They just keep flailing. ABC News blasted out a headline on social media based on unnamed quislings in the White House on Friday: "Trump likely to name White House ballroom after himself, officials say." Luckily, the internet is forever: But once Trump got wind of the alleged report during a media gaggle, he swiftly shot it down as "fake news." I know you're shocked that this is contrary to what you can read from ABC News below: Earlier, senior administration officials told ABC News that some in the administration were already referring to it as "The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom" and that that name was likely to stick. The White House claims they have released the full list of donors to the project. On a list of those donors, provided to ABC News by the White House, the ballroom is referred to as “the President Donald J. Trump Ballroom.” "Well, we raised a lot. We've raised over $350 million, [the ballroom is] a beautiful room, a big room," the president said, then paused a beat as if considering his next words carefully, in answer to the reporter's question on reports he plans to name the ballroom after himself. "I don't have any plan to call it after myself, that was fake news," Trump said. "Probably going to call it the Presidential Ballroom...we haven't really thought about a name yet." Someone asked Trump as a follow-up what might be done with the extra $50 million, and he explained "it could possibly be used to help build a large triumphal arch -- modeled on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris -- that Trump has proposed constructing just outside Washington." Sure, that's as good of a use as any. But, this is minutiae. Here's the correct answer, Republicans: tell them it's none of their business! They're well aware this isn't being financed by public money. It has to be asked again why this is day four or five of this nothing burger story. Palace whispers picked up in echoing hallways of the People's House by liberal hacks, and viewing one internal document - with a nickname "DJT Ballroom" - does not make something true. At a moment when some Americans are worrying about when/if they'll get their next paycheck to pay their mortgage or buy groceries - c'mon, just this once, guys - do your jobs.

The mistake many analysts are making is that they are treating IPL like it is still a pure television property. It is not. The IPL has evolved into a multi-screen, multi-platform entertainment ecosystem. The audience has not disappeared. The audience has migrated. Here is the correct strategic narrative: ⸻ IPL: The Screen Changed. The Audience Did Not. The headlines screaming “IPL viewership decline” are selectively quoting one metric: Average Minute Audience on linear television. That is only one part of the ecosystem. What those headlines ignore is the far more important structural shift taking place across global sports consumption: * Viewers are moving from broadcast TV to OTT * Families are splitting viewing across devices * Young audiences prefer mobile and Connected TV * Advertisers increasingly want measurable engagement, not just TV ratings The IPL is not shrinking. It is transforming faster than traditional media can measure. ⸻ The Real Story Is Total Reach In 2008, IPL operated in a largely television-driven India. Today, IPL lives simultaneously across: * Linear television * Mobile streaming * Tablets * Connected TVs * Smart TVs * Multi-device households * Social amplification ecosystems That changes how audiences are counted. The cumulative reach across platforms in IPL 2026 has already crossed 1.06 billion viewers, with the playoffs still to come. That is not decline. That is scale expansion. ⸻ Television Ratings Fell. But The Universe Expanded. Yes, TV ratings are lower. But the interpretation matters. Linear TV was once the only screen. Now it is simply one screen among many. Connected TV concurrency is up 61% YoY. Opening weekend watch time rose 26% YoY. The audience did not leave IPL. They upgraded their screens. ⸻ IPL Is Following The Same Pattern As Every Major Global Sports Property This is not unique to cricket. The same transition happened with: * NFL * NBA * Premier League * Formula 1 * Olympics Traditional TV softens while: * streaming explodes, * mobile dominates younger demographics, * and connected TV becomes the premium household screen. The IPL is simply entering the next phase earlier and faster because India is one of the world’s most mobile-first digital economies. ⸻ Why Advertisers Are Shifting To Digital Television can tell you: * a household watched. Digital can tell you: * who watched, * for how long, * on what device, * whether they interacted, * and whether they bought. That is the future of advertising economics. Which is why: * 125 new brands entered the digital IPL ecosystem this season * Connected TV ad pricing continues to strengthen * Watch time across combined platforms is projected to exceed last year’s record levels The monetisation engine is evolving. ⸻ The Most Important Metric: Total Consumption The real measure of sports dominance is not one-screen TV ratings anymore. It is: * cumulative reach, * total watch time, * engagement depth, * concurrency, * advertiser demand, * and cross-platform dominance. By that measurement, IPL remains one of the most powerful sports-entertainment properties on earth. Projected combined watch time for IPL 2026: 850–900 billion minutes. That is extraordinary. ⸻ The Strategic Perspective Critics are looking at IPL through a 2008 lens. But IPL in 2026 is no longer: * a cricket tournament, * or even just a TV product. It is: * a digital entertainment ecosystem, * a mobile-first phenomenon, * and one of the largest real-time engagement platforms in the world. The measurement model changed. The audience behaviour changed. The scale did not shrink. It expanded. “The IPL did not lose its audience. The audience simply changed screens. Measuring a digital-first global sports property only through television ratings is like measuring the internet through newspaper circulation.” IndianPremierLeague Press Trust of India JioHotstar espn starsport ESPN

🚨🔥 TURKISH FLAG RAISED IN KIČEVO 🇹🇷 — MACEDONIANS FURIOUS: WHERE ARE THE SLAVS IN MACEDONIA? 🇲🇰⚠️ BREAKING NEWS — A political and emotional storm has erupted in Kičevo, where the Turkish national flag 🇹🇷 was raised in front of a municipal building. Officials described the move as a cultural gesture linked to the local Turkish community and relations with Turkey. On the street and online, the reaction was immediate—and furious. This is not a dispute about protocol. It is about timing, symbolism, and a country already on edge. Only days earlier, tensions flared in Skopje, where Albanian nationalist mobilization—some imagery invoking the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA)—reignited memories of the 2001 conflict. That episode unsettled a fragile equilibrium. Now, scarcely a week later, another non-Slavic national flag appears on an official building, this time in western Macedonia. For many Macedonians, the sequence feels unmistakable. First Albanian nationalist pressure in the capital. Now Turkish state symbolism in a Macedonian town. And between the two, a growing sense that the Slavic core of the state is disappearing from public space. North Macedonia is a Slavic state by origin. The Macedonian people are Slavs; the language is Slavic; the historical arc—from medieval Slavic polities through a late national awakening—rests on continuity preserved under foreign rule. That history is not abstract. For centuries, Ottoman authority shaped daily life here, and Slavic identity survived through memory and resistance rather than power. Symbols tied to that past therefore carry weight far beyond ceremony. This is why the flag in Kičevo struck a nerve. In the Balkans, flags are not decoration; they are statements. Raised on a municipal building, they speak about presence, confidence, and whose story is allowed to be visible. When such symbols arrive in rapid succession—while Slavic Macedonian identity is expected to remain muted for the sake of “stability”—anger follows. Supporters insist this is multiculturalism at work. Critics counter that multiculturalism cannot mean asymmetry, where every identity asserts itself publicly except the one on which the state was founded. The question spreading across Macedonian society tonight is blunt and uncomfortable: Is Macedonia still allowed to be Slavic? This is not a rejection of minorities. It is a demand for balance—and for dignity. Because stability built on silence rarely lasts. And when a people begin asking where they themselves have gone, the issue has already moved beyond flags. ⸻ Slavic Networks Independent coverage of Slavic regions, power, and identity. Polymarket introduced new fees to kill bots on 15-minute markets. Result? They just eliminated competition for the two apex predators. These wallets did not just survive. They mutated. While the platform tried to "fix" the system, these two made $918,357 in pure profit in one month. On the fees that were supposed to bankrupt them. Someone on Twitter was complaining his stops get blown at the exact same second every time. Said he was up against HFT bots with direct exchange connections. In the comments someone dropped two profiles. Said here are your "manipulators". Just code. $522,439 profit in one month. $65 million volume. First place on crypto leaderboard. This is not a person. This is PurpleThunderBicycleMountain. His profile: The second profile looked like it could not top the first. 0x8dxd. Second place. $395,918 in the same month. But here is what breaks the brain completely. In December 2025 this wallet had $313. Three hundred thirteen dollars. Now his all-time profit exceeds $658,000. The numbers do not lie. $313 turned into a fortune in six weeks. See for yourself: The mechanics are uncomfortably simple. Both trade the same thing. 15-minute crypto markets. Bitcoin up or down. ETH above or below. Every 15 minutes a new contract. Here is the trick. You look at Polymarket and see 50/50 odds. For you this is a fair coin flip. But these two do not look at Polymarket. They look at Binance. When BTC makes a move on the exchange Polymarket does not know yet. Price already moved. Direction already determined. But odds on the platform still show yesterday. The window lasts 30 seconds. Sometimes 90. It is like playing poker against someone with a mirror behind your back. He already sees your cards. You still think you are bluffing. During this time the bot enters at old prices. Buys YES at 25 cents when real probability is already 80%. Or NO at 1.5 cents when the market already crashed. Then the window closes. Odds catch up to reality. Bot gets $1 for every 25 cents. This is not forecasting. This is harvesting from people staring at a stale screen. One trade stands out. ETH dumped on spot. PurpleThunderBicycleMountain loaded NO at 1.5 cents. Kept buying as price rose to 15 cents. Window closed down. Every share paid $1. 785% in fifteen minutes. On one trade. The craziest part is 0x8dxd stats. Win rate 98%. Out of 6,615 trades. Almost perfect. A human cannot trade like this. A human has shaky hands. A human doubts. A human sleeps. The bot does not sleep. The bot does not doubt. The bot just waits for Binance and Polymarket to diverge for 30 seconds. And takes the difference. Their profit curves both grow without a single pullback. No crashes. No nervous breakdowns. Methodical. Mechanical. Relentless. Polymarket introduced fees to stop this. Result? Small bots died. These two took their market share. A 1.5% fee means nothing when your average return is 300%. Here is what kills. Anyone can spend months learning Python. Rent a server near the exchange. Write an algorithm. Test. Debug. Lose money on mistakes. Or just open their profiles and see what they are buying. The blockchain stores everything. Every position. Every timing. Full history in the open. They spend thousands on infrastructure. Write code for months. Optimize milliseconds. Anyone can just watch where they enter. $918,357 in one month between them. First and second place on the leaderboard. This is not theory. This is a working machine. Right now somewhere BTC is making a move. Polymarket still shows old odds. These two are already entering a position. Only one question remains: Will you be the one selling to them at stale prices? Or the one entering alongside them? In 15 minutes a new contract opens. 14 minutes left.

This is the story the media seems to have buried and forgotten. Back in March 2026, a late-night trip to a Waffle House in Richardson, Texas turned into absolute chaos when gunfire erupted after an argument between two groups escalated into violence. According to police, multiple people in both groups pulled out guns and started firing. Seth Jackson was not there looking for trouble. He had just gotten off work late and stopped at the Waffle House to grab food with friends. When he saw several people attacking one of his friends, he ran toward the altercation to help. He never even made it within 15 feet. Before he could reach them, Seth was struck by a bullet. The shooting left the young man catastrophically injured and fighting for his life. Investigators later announced three arrests (one was a minor) connected to the violence surrounding the incident, and officials have stated that additional arrests are expected. But the shooter who nearly killed Seth is STILL free. The charges don’t seem match the crime. (Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity) The person responsible for permanently altering this young man’s life still has not been publicly identified or taken into custody. Meanwhile, Seth has spent the last year fighting through hospitals, surgeries, and grueling rehabilitation. And here is the breaking update the media should be talking about right now: Seth is HOME. He is continuing rehabilitation. And Friday night, Seth Jackson graduated WITH HONORS. In a wheelchair. He rolled himself across that stage himself. This young man worked two jobs before the shooting. He had already been accepted to the University of Houston. He had his future ahead of him before a senseless act of violence changed everything in seconds. Yet despite all of it, despite the pain, despite the rehabilitation, despite the life-altering injuries, he crossed that graduation stage with honors. That should have been national news. Instead, this story was buried and forgotten while the person who pulled the trigger remains free. Richardson PD says the case remains active and that they are “committed to seeking justice for Mr. Jackson and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable.” They also say more arrests are coming. For Seth’s family, justice cannot come soon enough.

I have said this before and I shall say it again: the attacks on Sam 'Dzata' George 🦁🇬🇭 are not organic. They are coordinated, laced with rage-baiting from some quarters on X. An X influencer once confessed to me that he actually enjoys dragging Sam George. To him, it’s just fun and cruise, yet he holds no real grudge. SMH. Honestly, I’m yet to meet anyone who has a genuine, solid reason to dislike him. Back when the NDC was in opposition, Sam George was one of the strongest, most fearless voices; on traditional media, social media, and right there on the grounds. His energy, bravery, and relentless fight played a huge part in the NDC’s victory. The damage he inflicted on the NPP is something they will never forget… and that, we all know, is the real source behind some of these attacks. Yet, amidst all the noise, he remains resolute and absolute in the execution of his duty. He holds himself to the highest standards. The previous government left behind such a massive mess that if we don’t fix it quickly, our country could be doomed. He fully understands the reset agenda and has thrown himself into it with total seriousness. Lest we forget, 1. He fought hard to increase our data volumes, pushing MTN’s popular bundle from 92GB to 214GB and Telecel’s from around 90GB to 250GB. Ghanaians are now getting far more value for their money. The irony? The haters now have even more data to come online and insult him. Lol. I made my first purchase in October 2025, and it actually lasted until February 2026! 2. He also put pressure on MultiChoice/DStv to improve their offerings and ease the burden on subscribers. Users have admitted that without his intervention, subscriptions could have hit GH¢600, but for the past 8 months, it has stayed at GH¢375. That means each DStv user has saved around GH¢1,800 so far. 3. To seriously tackle mobile money (MoMo) fraud, he is pushing for a proper, comprehensive SIM re-registration exercise. 4. He has reintroduced the anti-LGBTQ+ bill and remains firm, consistent, and unapologetic. To him, it is a serious aberration of the mind, and he has vowed to fight it with all his might. 5. Two weeks ago, he distributed laptops to all 130 learning centres to kick-start the ambitious One Million Coders programme. The registration website is now open and live. 6. Last Friday, he launched the National AI Strategy, a bold move that sets the tone for a major transformation of artificial intelligence not just in Ghana, but across Africa. 7. He is currently leading serious efforts to fully integrate Ghana into the PayPal ecosystem, opening new doors for digital payments and the economy. 8. He has issued a strong policy directive to telcos to fix network challenges and boost connectivity nationwide. He demanded 800 new cell sites from MTN alone this year and they have agreed. This is a massive win. In the last 8 years, the average annual rollout was around 200 sites, with some years as low as 30–50. Now in 2026, MTN alone is rolling out 800. Network coverage and speed across the country are about to improve significantly. You may not like Sam George personally, but that doesn’t change the facts: he is generous, humble, and an arduous workaholic. The truth remains one and it is gradually taking over. Today, people call him the “Prampram Messiah”. Dzata4AReason❤️

Terrible optics for Chris Hipkins. A high-profile staffer in the Labour leader’s office is sharing content on social media that is strongly anti-US law enforcement and smears President Trump and the White House. Last night, Jordan Rivers shared a post featuring the lyrics: "Fuck ICE, we ain't gonna play nice" "Oh, you wanna fight? Keep sucking daddy's dick on the far right." This is widely interpreted as a direct critique and smear of Trump and his administration's immigration enforcement policies. Rivers also shared a cartoon depicting U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi looming menacingly over what appears to be an Epstein victim, bellowing "Look at the stock market!" in her face. This morning, Rivers went further by sharing an altered screenshot of a White House post on X. The original caption—“These are just some of the most dangerous illegal aliens ICE took off our streets this Tuesday”—was removed, leaving only the header: “Pedophiles. Kidnappers. Violent Assailants.” This edit implies that White House staff fit those categories. This content has reached Rivers' more than 70,000 followers on Instagram, while he works in the Labour leader's office. Mainstream media have so far failed to put any questions to Hipkins about Rivers' hiring or the inflammatory material he shares publicly on social media, without disclaimers and despite his role as a paid parliamentary staffer. Hipkins, who aspires to become the next Prime Minister and would therefore communicate directly with President Trump, must be asked whether it remains appropriate for Rivers to continue working with the Labour Party.

Blake Lively’s Met Gala Moment Was Deeply Tone-Deaf Blake Lively showing up at the Met Gala this year, smiling like nothing happened, honestly felt surreal. Not in a good way. More like… are we all just expected to pretend the last two years didn’t happen? Because that’s what it looked like. A reset. A clean slate. As if everything that went down with Justin Baldoni just evaporated the moment she stepped onto that carpet in a Versace gown. And I’m sorry, but it doesn’t work like that. You don’t get to be at the center of a situation that serious, with that much damage done to someone’s reputation, and then just reappear in full glamour mode like it was all some minor inconvenience. Whether people want to admit it or not, that whole situation left a mark. On him, on the project, and on how people see her now. What makes it worse is the timing. Walking into one of the most visible events in the world right after everything wrapped up just feels… off. There’s no reflection in that. No pause. No sense that any of it actually mattered beyond being something to get past. And then there’s the bigger issue. When something tied to a story about domestic violence turns into this kind of public spectacle, it cheapens it. It stops being about the message and starts being about ego, control, and image. That’s the part that doesn’t sit right. You can call it strategy, you can call it PR, but to a lot of people it just reads as tone-deaf. Versace dressing her? That’s their choice. But let’s not pretend fashion houses don’t pick sides when they do that. They know exactly what kind of attention it brings. Same with the Met Gala. They don’t “accidentally” invite people. Every name is a decision. So yeah, people are going to question it. They should. Because this didn’t feel like a comeback. It felt like someone stepping right back into the spotlight without acknowledging the weight of what just happened. Like the expectation is that the audience will move on simply because she has. Not everyone will. And honestly, they shouldn’t have to. PS: That’s the only soundtrack that actually fits that red carpet. moment.
