Cde Tawanda Mukodza has crossed the line. Today in Mutare, instead of allowing the PEC meeting to proceed, he hired paying them $2000 hooligans to block it. This is not leadership it is sabotage. The truth is the PEC is no longer comfortable with him as Provincial Chair because he continues to defy party orders and betray the trust of the structures. 📌Financial Betrayal Wicknell gave $100,000 and $100,000 of Presidential fund from Tungwarara to be disbursed to the province. That money never reached the people. Instead of strengthening Manicaland, Mukodza pocketed it, leaving the structures starved of resources. 📌Corruption in Appointments Positions in Manicaland are no longer earned through loyalty and service. Under Mukodza, they are bought. He demands payment from cadres who want to serve, turning the structures into a marketplace of corruption. 📌During the co-option of Cde Paul Tungwarara, Mukodza went beyond lying he lied that he was instructed to forge his proof of residence. He told the Manicaland Provincial Executive that his actions were orders from the top, when in fact they were his own scheme. He forged Tungwarara’s proof of residence, claiming Chipinge instead of Buhera, and used that false “instruction” as cover to mislead the entire executive. This was not just dishonesty; it was calculated manipulation, dragging the party’s name into disrepute while hiding behind fake authority. 📌Defiance of National Authority When the Mutare Presidential Launch was postponed until further notice, Mukodza ignored the directive from National Political Commissar Cde Munyaradzi Machacha. He went ahead with the program in open defiance of the party’s leadership. This is not discipline. It is arrogance. 📌What we are witnessing is a Provincial Chairman who has abandoned principle, discipline, and loyalty. He has turned Manicaland into his personal empire, where money buys influence, lies replace truth, and defiance is paraded as strength. This is not the ZANU PF way. Liberation credentials are not a licence to undermine peace, unity, and order. They are a burden of responsibility to protect the revolution, to respect the structures, and to serve the people. Mukodza has failed that test. Manicaland deserves leadership that unites, not divides. Leadership that builds, not destroys. Leadership that respects the party, not one that spits on its authority. The time has come to call this out without fear or favour. Mukodza’s conduct is not revolutionary. It is subversive. And history will not forgive those who trade discipline for greed, or loyalty for ego. Manicaland Information Desk Official Çharmaine Ropafadzo Minister of State for Manicaland Province

It's sad how the Manicaland Provincial leadership succumbed to their greed inducing them to act against the party's constitution which states that the said position was reserved for a woman who should also be from the same Administrative District. I do not blame Tungwarara but the Manicaland leadership which has exposed its insatiable hunger for money. When did a man become a woman for them to make such a greedy blunder? The whole episode, which is a clear strategic blunder deriving from poor political astuteness, reveals the limitations of depending on money as a political weapon. One has to build a proper support base and entrench themselves within the structures through sincere philanthropy as has happened with Tagwirei who has years of work supporting the party behind him. His track record as a benefactor for the party has been testified about, such as by Hon Shamhu in the video, such that his entrance into party structures was a natural progression. No wonder even those who fought against his co-option into the Central Committee failed. After this Tungwarara should realize that as President Mnangagwa has said, ZANU PF cannot be put into one's pocket. There is a need for one to actually work and not seek shortcuts into power. As a political consultant I have assisted many successful individuals for years and I can tell you today that one has to identify their area of expertise where their potential can be realised. This monied and misguided belief that one has to get a party position is shallow. Like him or not Chivayo has identified his area and doesn't seek a political position. Connections and king-making influence is enough for him and that is a strategy. Equally, Scott Sakupwanya has targeted the Legislative route, successfully. Tagwirei has ignored that and instead sought for a position in the party structure. For one sincerely building support in the party donations can be done from behind the scenes and even through the Chairperson like Oppah Muchinguri or the President. That suffices unless there is a misguided and impulsive desire for power which compels one to continuously hog the limelight dishing gifts as a shortcut to power. However, that can misfire spectacularly if done without enough political wisdom.

The Art Of War🐊🐊🐊 The Matinyarare Affair – Betrayal, Hypocrisy, and the Commercialisation of Disrespect😒 While businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo sir_wicknell. took a principled stand against rewarding those who insult the Presidency, Presidential Adviser Cde Paul Tungwarara shamelessly handed the very same gifts, a Land Cruiser and US$200,000 to Rutendo Matinyarare, a known detractor of the President and First Family. This is not merely an inconsistency; it is a deliberate undermining of the very authority Cde Tungwarara is meant to defend🥹 Sir Wicknell Chivayo was unequivocal: he would have gladly extended a Land Cruiser 300 Series and US$300,000 and much more to Rutendo Matinyarare had Matinyarare shown basic respect to the President and the First Family. Sir sir_wicknell. refused to "normalise the abnormal." He drew a clear line: loyalty and decency are non-negotiable prerequisites for reward. He stood by the principle that you cannot insult the highest office in the land and still expect to be treated as a beneficiary. Enter Cde Paul Tungwarara a man appointed to serve and protect the President's interests. Instead of upholding the dignity of the office he represents, Cde Tungwarara turned around and offered Matinyarare exactly what Sir sir_wicknell. withheld: a Land Cruiser and US$200,000. This is not generosity. This is a calculated act of subversion. Tungwarara has effectively told every Zimbabwean that you can vilify the President, attack the First Family, and still walk away with a luxury vehicle and cash. 1. Undermining the Presidency – By rewarding a critic, Cde Tungwarara has sent a dangerous signal that insults to the First Family carry no consequences. This weakens the office and emboldens further attacks. 2. Betraying Loyalists – Those who have stood by the President in good faith are now watching a known detractor being rewarded. This is a slap in the face to every loyal supporter. 3. Tungwaz’s message is now clear: If you attack loudly enough, you get paid. If you stay loyal, you are ignored. 4. Embarrassing the Government – This debacle has handed opposition forces and critics a weapon. The government is now being mocked for rewarding its enemies while neglecting its friends. #Tungwaz has committed an act of gross indiscretion. By rewarding Matinyarare, he has not only contradicted Sir sir_wicknell.'s principled position but has also compromised the integrity of the Presidency. This is not a misunderstanding it is a deliberate affront. Cde Tungwarara must be held accountable, and ZANU PF must issue a clear statement that disrespect to our President President of Zimbabwe and the First Family will never be rewarded. If this precedent stands, Zimbabweans will learn a dangerous lesson: insult the leadership, and you get paid. Respect it, and you get nothing. · Tungwaz must publicly explain his actions and APOLOGISE TO OUR PRESIDENT, THE FIRST FAMILY AND ZANU PF MEMBER❗️ · The gift to Matinyarare must be withdrawn.❗️ NB* 72hours since the #Tungwaz and Rutendo Matinyarare’s drama exploded across social media💣💥🧨 Yet Rutendo Matinyarare’ timelines STILL remain plastered with videos and audio clips of him insulting: 🇿🇼 Our President President of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 The First Family First Lady of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 🇿🇼 Dr. Kuda Tagwirei 🇿🇼 Hon. Sakupwanya Pedzai ZANU PF MP For Mabvuku Tafara Co 🇿🇼 sir_wicknell. …and the very progress Zimbabwe has fought for #vision2030 🙏🏿 ⚠️This is not freedom of speech. #Zimbabwe #ZimLestWeForget One of the country’s most eminent sons and hero who died in the war and whose remains are at the National Shrine is the Chairman of the ZANU, Cde Herbert Wiltshire Pfumandini Chitepo. Cde Chitepo died on #18March1975 in #Lusaka, #Zambia, when a bomb planted on his car shattered the morning at 150 Muramba Road in Chilenje South. This was after his fiery language and his role in developing Zanu’s new military strategy inevitably made him a target for assassination by the Rhodesian regime. Cde Chitepo and Silas Shamiso, one of his bodyguards, were killed instantly. Sadat Kufamadzuba, his other bodyguard, was injured. Although his murderer remains unidentified, Rhodesian author Peter Stiff says that a former British SAS soldier, Hugh Hind, was responsible. Cde Chitepo was born in Mutasa District, Manicaland Province on June 15, 1923 - the year that the British South Africa Company, a legacy of Cecil John Rhodes, lost its grip on the country they called Southern Rhodesia. Cde Chitepo was the first black citizen of Rhodesia to become a barrister. This was where he met his wife Victoria a heroine who was also interred at the national shrine. After teaching for a year, he resumed his studies to graduate with a BA degree from Fort Hare University College in 1949. In 1954, Cde Chitepo became the then Rhodesia’s first black lawyer. On returning to Rhodesia in 1954, he practised as a lawyer and defended African nationalists such as Ndabaningi Sithole. In 1961, he served as legal adviser to the late Father Zimbabwe, Dr Joshua Nkomo, founder of the Zimbabwe African People’s Union (ZAPU), at the Southern Rhodesia Constitutional Conference in London. In May 1962, ZAPU was banned because of militarism and Cde Chitepo was persuaded to go into voluntary exile to escape possible detention. He became Tanzania’s first African Director of Public Prosecutions. The Sithole and Nkomo factions of ZAPU split apart in July 1963. Dr Nkomo’s supporters founded the PCC-ZAPU and favoured a more militaristic approach. At Zanu’s first congress in Gweru in 1964, Cde Chitepo was elected in absentia as national chairman. He held this post until December 7, 1974 when the Lusaka Accord was signed. In 1966, Cde Chitepo decided to leave his prestigious job in Tanzania and move to Zambia to devote himself full-time to reorganising the party and beginning the armed struggle in earnest. It was a decision that separated him from some of his contemporaries in academic institutions and in comfortable jobs who had decided not join nationalistic politics. It was also a role that radicalised his views. Under the guidance of Cde Chitepo as Zanu’s most senior leader, the party shaped its military wing, #ZANLA, under the command of national hero Cde Josiah Magama Tongogara. Both Zanu and Zapu chose to leave the country and reorganise and form military armies outside Rhodesia, although they chose different countries to set up their base. ZAPU based itself in Zambia where it organised #ZIPRA. They allied with the Soviet Union and organised a vanguard of highly trained soldiers. In 1972, he co-ordinated war operations with FRELIMO and opened up the north-eastern region of Zimbabwe as a new and effective war frontier. Cde Chitepo was reburied at the National Heroes Acre on August 11, 1981. In the country’s history of the liberation struggle, Cde Chitepo is known for insisting that the only language the Rhodesian prime minister Ian Smith would understand was violence. “Zimbabwe was taken from us through bloodshed. Only bloodshed - a bloody #Chimurenga, involving four and half million of us can restore Zimbabwe to its owners” The Herald Zimbabwe His effort will never be forgotten 🫡🇿🇼 ZANU PF He sacrificed all for our better tomorrow🕊️ #chimurenga✊🏿

ZANU PF is a dangerous creature which no one individual should too soon profess to comprehend as to recklessly twirl around as with a personal pendant. In its wake lie the shells of many who too soon bequeathed themselves powers they couldn't handle. Paul Tungwarara is a cherished confidant with whom I engage in candid dialogue, making it all the more disconcerting to witness how he has become ensnared and manipulated by the machinations of the VP Chiwenga faction. The recent gathering in Manicaland, featuring the unusual presence of Mutsvangwa who conspicuously neglects his own events in Mashonaland West, served as a blatant Tagwirei character assassination exercise. Beneath the veneer of platitudes towards the party and the President was a transparent conspiracy designed to belittle and undermine Tagwirei, who is perceived as a formidable competitor to VP Chiwenga. That faction has already been corralling some old horses and some young and giddy horses for its camp. It's known how Monica Mutsvangwa has the carrot of female VP dangled for her with Obert Mpofu the other VP. Tino Machakaire with Youth and Chinomona with Woman are some of the party functionaries who are nicodemously selling out the party and undermining their leader ED in a scheme designed to thwart all perceived rivals including Tagwirei. With the likes of Chris, who has years of scheming and chasing after power, my friend Tungwarara becomes a victim whose innocent and juvenile excitement is bubbling froth that may choke him one day. It's sad my brother seeing you hijacked by power hungry vultures. I have warned you before because at some point it will become tiresome, for the powers that be, to continue defending the movement from the same people and you will be caught in the crossfire. Another thing is that Manicaland Province has well and truly rebelled! It's one thing to have a preferred Central Committee candidate and another to scoff at the party's Constitutional dictates and leaders, flagrantly overriding them and daring any recriminations. That wasn't an act of bravery in supporting their choice but an atavistic confrontation against the civilised norms of the party. Mutsvangwa is very well known for his hate for Tagwirei and has already made an about-turn on the CC co-option issue; from ranting against it to suddenly steering it into the Politburo for further discussion. What further discussion is required when the Commissar Machacha has nullified the whole thing? While Tungwarara may celebrate these manouvres for his own political expediency their greater agenda doesn't recognize him as it has its own targets. In due time the palavering will be stopped.

COMMUNICATION 101 GONE HORRIBLY WRONG FOR RBZ GOVERNOR It is unfortunate and rather very concerning that a growing number of important stuff that the new Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor, Dr John Mushayavanhu, has been captured on video saying at public gatherings of one sort or another are either patently ill-advised or politically naive or downright outrageous or all these things rolled into one. Many, like this writer, who have known him or are familiar with with Dr Mushayavanhu's work in various capacities in his profession, and who have wished him well in his new public responsibility at the highest echelon of the Central Bank, would like to think that Dr Mushayavanhu was appointed to the position of RBZ governor on merit; in light of his competitive qualifications and acclaimed experience in the financial services and banking sector. But going by the outrageous stuff he's captured saying on the attached video clip, when he was celebrating his appointment with his clansmen at his village, it seems Dr Mushayavanhu sees himself as having been appointed on account of his home village, tribe and region; a consideration which leaves him deservedly vulnerable to the charge that he's just a primitive tribalist and regionaliist. The fact that the late Predident Mugabe who hailed from Mashonaland appointed four successive RBZ governors from Manicaland, should have given Dr Mushayavanhu a substantive reason to pause and think better, rationally and consider that all of his four predecessors were arguably appointed on merit; not on account of their tribe or region. In any event, it was crude and unbecoming of a Central Bank governor for Dr Mushayavanhu to gratuitously smear the names of all the previous RBZ governors before him, namely, Dr James Kombo Moyana; Dr Leonard Tsumba; Dr Gideon Gono and Dr John Mangudya, when he disrespectfully and unprofessionally referred to them individually by their names in an unsavoury tribal and regional reference; as he addressed his clansmen at his home village, in crass celebration of his RBZ appointment as a tribal and regional achievement. Someone with the RBZ Governor's ear should advise Dr Mushayavanhu to henceforth keep quiet for a long time, work on monetary policy from his office, and quit speaking at public gatherings. It's not only in his interest to do so, it's also in the national interest!

These Malawians, stranded and desperate in Durban following a wave of xenophobic attacks, are expressing frustration with their government for doing too little to help them return home. Thousands of them are living in squalid conditions in the cold, alongside their children. Some women have given birth while stranded, one woman gave birth to twins on Monday, while others have been rushed to hospital suffering from dehydration, exhaustion, and other health complications. The first woman says they do not even have sanitary products and have been unable to change for days. She says they have also been unable to bathe for several days, leaving them in extremely difficult and undignified conditions. Malawian President Peter Arthur Mutharika, who recently travelled to Johannesburg on a private jet for a medical check-up, has so far only sent eight buses to assist with repatriation, despite there being 7,000 Malawians stranded in Durban alone. These migrants are not a burden on Malawi, they are one of the country’s most important economic lifelines. Every month, they send home remittances that pay school fees, cover medical bills, build homes, support small businesses, and put food on the table for thousands of families. That money circulates through the economy, generating economic activity and tax revenue that ultimately benefits the state. The cost of sending buses and providing emergency assistance to citizens stranded by xenophobic violence is insignificant compared to the years of contribution these migrants have made to Malawi’s economy. When citizens who have invested so much in their country find themselves in crisis, helping them is not charity, it is a responsibility and a debt of gratitude owed to them by their government. Yet when disaster strikes and they need assistance from their government following unplanned xenophobic attacks, many feel abandoned. For thousands of stranded citizens facing hardship, eight buses are simply not enough. A government’s commitment to its people is tested not when things are going well, but when its citizens are at their most vulnerable.

Thank you, Cde Vera, for exposing the betrayal. Every Zimbabwean must listen to this truth—Mnangagwa and ZANU-PF have abandoned the liberation cause and turned it into a personal business empire. As Cde Faith Chananda (Comrade Vera) bravely narrates, the heroes who shed blood for this country are now reduced to beggars—handed bicycles, rotten food hampers, and empty slogans in the name of “empowerment.” Meanwhile, Mnangagwa and his Zvigananda cartel loot billions, buy loyalty with cars and cash, and sow division to keep their corrupt grip on power. Let us be clear: Mnangagwa is not a liberator. He is a corrupt rogue, a national disgrace who spits on the sacrifices of the fallen. He has betrayed war veterans, betrayed the people, and betrayed the nation. While millions live in poverty, without jobs, without proper healthcare, without roads or clean water, he plots to steal more time in power through his criminal 2030 agenda. To the war veterans: you carried this nation on your backs. Do not let bicycles and food hampers be the price of your blood and sacrifice. You fought for freedom and dignity—do not allow Mnangagwa to mock you with crumbs while he builds his empire. To those still in ZANU-PF with a conscience: the party you joined to liberate Zimbabwe has been hijacked by Mnangagwa’s greed. If you remain silent while he tampers with the Constitution to extend his term beyond 2028, then you are complicit in destroying the very ideals of the struggle. The 2030 agenda is not development—it is dictatorship. It is the death of the Constitution, the betrayal of the liberation, and the enslavement of future generations. Mnangagwa must be stopped now. War veterans, ZANU-PF insiders, and all patriotic Zimbabweans must rise and declare openly: this rogue has failed, this rogue is corrupt, this rogue will not rewrite our Constitution to cling to power. Zimbabwe’s liberation cannot end in bicycles and rotten food. It must end in justice, dignity, and true freedom for the people. OAU transport system was near perfect, adequate buses and bikes, we rarely experienced queues until the First Lady came and decided she didn’t like the ease of transportation and introduced “change” by donating CNG buses. The school management in turn banned all motorcycles and commercial buses on campus and subjected over 30,000 students to just about 50 buses and a few tricycles. OAU has one of the largest land masses of any Nigerian university, yet students are now stranded daily. This is a Monday morning where students are supposed to rush for class, but they are stuck at the campus gate because of the inefficiency of the CNG buses. Students are struggling to go to class in the morning and in the evenings to even get back to their hostels. Students staying off campus now spend almost double to get to campus, all alternative transport means have been removed The management have cars to bypass all of this, but majority of students do not. Yet they released statements talking about how the buses will “ease transportation” and even implied students appreciate the system. Meanwhile, students are trekking, missing classes, and spending hours in queues. Let it be clear that students do not appreciate this system. It has made our lives harder, not better. What used to be a smooth system has now become a daily struggle. There are many pressing issues in this school, but they chose to dismantle a working transport system and replace it with hardship. We can no longer remain silent. Let the whole world know what OAU students are going through. Please if you come across this tweet, help us retweet it whether you are an OAU student or not We demand our towngboro buses and motorcycles back.

The third book launch of opposition politician Job Sikhala’s book, Footprints in the chains at Charles Austin Theatre in Masvingo on Friday night was disrupted by Zanu PF hooligans allegedly sponsored by a senior party official from Gutu. The youth attacked guests as journalist Matthew Takaona who was the main speaker delivered his speech. The notorious and well known youth from Rujeko and other suburbs of Masvingo broke furniture, threw tables at guests and threw away the books that were meant to be sold at the function. Takaona called for a healing process for communities in Mashonaland, Manicaland and Mutare Provinces for the orgy of violence that gripped these areas during the elections of 2000, 2002, 2005 and 2008, adding that people were left deeply divided. He commended Mnangagwa for starting a healing process in Matabeleland which should also be extended to the other provinces. 🇿🇼 ZANU PF PATRIOTS 🇿🇼 @ZanuPFYouthLeag Hopewell Chin’ono President of Zimbabwe nelson chamisa Ministry of Information, Publicity & Broadcasting Zimbabwe Republic Police Dr Walter Mzembi Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri (ZANUPF Nat. Mutsvangwa has described the late Blessed Bombshell Geza as a great hero before and after independence. Mutsvangwa attributed the downfall of Mugabe and the rise of Mnangagwa to Geza’s leading role. Mutsvangwa said it was Geza who actually mobilised him (Mutsvangwa) into the programme to topple Mugabe. He also described the Gezas’ as a family of heroes with the late’s siblings having been top commanders in Zanla and Zipa. Mutsvangwa said the only thing that tainted Geza’s record was his attack on the Second Republic. He however, said Geza’s attack on Mnangagwa was caused by his ill-health that saw him being manipulated by the G40s’. Ironically despite the glowing accolades from the party’s chief spokesperson, Geza was not declared a hero by Zanu PF. 🇿🇼 ZANU PF PATRIOTS 🇿🇼 Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri (ZANUPF Nat.
