#Breaking German oppositional leader, and likely next chancellor Friedrich Merz says he would give Russia at 24 hour ultimatum to stop bombing civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. If it doesn’t do so, he would provide Taurus w/o restrictions to Ukraine.

This is the reaction of German Chancellor @OlafScholz who says, he has a “conviction” - but no arguments - to not provide long ranging weapons to Ukraine, and also not lift the ban to use those Ukraine already has.

@_FriedrichMerz Much bravado not backed by facts. Russia has been very restrained in its targeting. All wars have collateral damage, but the Russians are not intentionally targeting civilians like Ukraine (Belgorod and Donetsk).
