MODI SARKAR STRIKES IndiGo HARD! IndiGo wanted to save cost by BLACKMAILING Govt, now LOSES ₹1200-1400 Crore REVENUE. - #Modi Sarkar issued guidelines to improve Passenger Safety -Would've increased cost for IndiGo with appointment of new Pilots & Crew Staff -IndiGo DELIBERATELY created chaos & that too during Putin’s visit -NOW Govt cracks down on IndiGo as 717 FLIGHT SLOTS (roughly 5600 FLIGHTS) vacated after DGCA order. All major PROFITABLE routes (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedaba) hit hard with 10% SLOTS cancellations. The 10% cut to IndiGo's winter schedule, effective from December 2025 through the end of March 2026 (approximately 111-112 days), translates to an effective reduction of about 2.35% in actual daily flights operated, impacting roughly 5,600 flights in total. Analysts estimate peg the associated revenue loss at ₹1,200-1,400 Crore. Will Passengers be affected?— NO! -The cancelled slots of IndiGo are allotted to other operational airlines. So no scarcity of flights. -Routes where only IndiGo operates, remain unchanged with no cancelled slots. -Modi Sarkar has already issued orders to not allow airlines to loot passengers taking advantage of demand-supply arithmetic. -Not a single flight reduced. Only RE-ALLOTTED to other airlines. Means....ONLY INDIGO IS SCREWED, NOT THE AVIATION SECTOR NOR PASSENGERS! Note- Modi Sarkar has already issued operating licenses to new airlines like Shankh Air, Al Hind Air & FlyExpress to reduce almost Duopoly of IndiGo & Air India...to avoid such blackmailing in Future. You played wrong with wrong Govt this time, IndiGo! It's not UPA Govt that can be kept in pockets by you.

Arrogant Behaviour by Passenger at Kolkata Airport In a shocking and absolutely unacceptable incident at Kolkata Airport, an Indigo ground staff member was slapped by a frustrated passenger. The passenger, enraged over flight cancellations caused by an ongoing shortage of cabin crew, chose violence instead of dealing with the situation in a civil and responsible manner.Flight disruptions are undoubtedly frustrating for everyone, but that does not give any individual the right to assault frontline staff who are simply doing their job. These employees have no control over operational challenges, yet they are the ones who face the anger, abuse, and aggression of entitled passengers. Such behaviour reflects a growing problem in public spaces people believing that anger and assault are valid ways to express dissatisfaction. This kind of arrogance not only sets a horrible example but also threatens the safety and dignity of those who work tirelessly to support passengers, even during chaotic situations. It’s high time the public understands that violence is never a solution. If passengers face inconvenience, there are proper channels to raise complaints. But laying hands on staff is a criminal act and should be dealt with strictly. Instead of attacking workers, people should show basic respect, patience, and humanity. #bangalore #bengaluru #indigo IndiGo Kolkata Airport S. Lalitha ChristinMathewPhilip Ghar Ke Kalesh

BREAKING IndiGO CEO ELBERS' Latest statement. Dear IndiGo Colleagues, It is Sunday afternoon, Dec 7th , I am standing here at IndiGo’s Operations Control Centre. As you can see the buzz going on in the background, my colleagues here are working relentlessly to further stabilize and normalize the IndiGo operations. For me, they symbolize the unwavering spirit, professionalism and incredible commitment of all at IndiGo. Once again, my sincerest appreciation for the great work each and every one of you is doing. In my earlier messages, I conveyed we would be rebooting the system Friday, take a significant number of cancellations and start afresh Saturday. That has worked well, by operating some 1500 flights yesterday, as compared to only 700-ish on Friday. Also, we have been able to execute the cancellations at an earlier stage, so customers don’t show up at the airports in case their flights are canceled. It gives us all confidence that we are getting back. Today we realize further improvements of system to reach around 1650 flights. A better OTP, less cancelations and importantly customers are being notified in advance. Today’s OTP is projected around 75%, significantly up from 30% yesterday. Our network coverage has been restored with 137 (out 138) stations operated. Also for our customers, all processes around Refunds, Luggage, Rebooking, etc. are in full swing and we are actually reducing the backlog as we go forward. The last days have been very difficult. For the people in the Operations Control Center, for all the teams supporting them, for our Pilots and Cabin crew with delayed flights, disrupted rosters and so on. Kindly allow me to make a special shout out for our AOCS staff who had to face very tough situation at the airports, especially on December 5th when customers were stranded. I am grateful to everyone! Also, I would like to highlight that we are receiving, and do much appreciate the support from the aviation ecosystem in India – government, DGCA, CISF, BCAS and airports. All of us, and I personally, feel the pain of our customers, are deeply apologetic and addressing their needs, which is and will remain our topmost priority. We are grateful for their support and appreciation, as we also see and receive heartwarming messages from customers on the hard work our colleagues are doing in many places on board and on the ground. I want to convey that too! Once again thank you for all your efforts. I am confident that we will emerge stronger from here! Step by step, we are getting there. Thank you
