Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who agrees with Senator Warren’s honest admission that Democrats are no longer trusted by working Americans. When Warren says, “Once, we were trusted by working people,” that should be a wake-up call, not a throwaway line. Trust isn’t lost overnight. Stop believing the lie that we have to build more data centers to compete with China. The US already has 5,381 data centers, which is 12 times as many as China’s 449. US billionaires want more data centers to replace our jobs and the US government wants them to surveil us at home and wage more endless wars abroad. Tragic scenes last night in Southampton. I condemn that behaviour. Separately, I have a few points: - Why are people blaming Farage for people’s rage? Are they really that thick or is it desperation to score political points? People are raging, not because of Farage, but because they have had ENOUGH of what is happening in and to this country. - Why, when white working class people protest are they consistently met with batons, shields and provocative force? That doesn’t seem to happen as standard elsewhere (Harehills springs to mind) - Why do the police, given people are already furious with their actions, think it’s a good idea to repeatedly strike a lone individual - who is already prone on the ground - while another officer then moves to try and block the camera view?
