⚠️ Don’t look at the images if you are sensitive. It shows Rafayel stabbing Valko and all the LIs killing Valko in his wolf form. What truly disgusts me beyond our own feelings being trampled and the work of the devs being thrown like it doesn’t mean anything—and if you only worked on a 8 months project you know what it feels, so imagine one and half to two years; it’s the way the anti were rewarded for their vileness. They said the utmost racist things ever spewed mostly towards black people, homophobic reasons on why Valko was canceled validated the fandom’s and game’s reputation as a whole as being the number one lair for homophobia or terf. But also everything else, the cow dungs, the animal blood, the Taoist talismans, the chrysanthemums and funeral banners. The deeply disturbing violence with words and acts, the animal abuse drawings or even AI were deeply disturbing. I could continue for hours 😞 All of that was validated and this is why the anti feel free to spread hate, to say the most messed up things you can ever read you’d think you ended up on 4chan. Below are just screenshots of a video reposted so anti don’t change history. I still think about these videos and gore edits everyday. Yes I saw and witnessed worse in real life but I refuse to be desensitized. You can call me too soft but this traumatized me. I have an anxiety disorder and I’m displaying the symptoms I was able to limit for years. Seeing my comfort zone and character Rafayel stabbing Valko and the others killing an innocent animal genuinely made me cry. There are much more sadly and there’s only one person with who I discuss about this even if she pretty much left the fandom after witnessing it first hand everyday from the 22 to 29 of June. I spent several nights before his cancellation reporting posts and comments under the PV of Valko. To give you an idea, making the LIs wear Imperial Japan uniforms is like putting them in Waffen SS Nazi uniforms, it is extremely disturbing. Who in their right mind (of course them kids) would do something like this to characters they claim to love ? How can they even play a game about love and being this rotten inside ? who take so much pleasure in seeing other fellow (sisters) women suffer ? Yes we had among our movement some people who spew Sinophobia and terrible things but they never collected one thousand likes. In fact we reported these people, today most of their accounts are gone. On the opposite side, the racists, bullies and criminals (because that’s who they are as they factually violated the Chinese law) were rewarded by Papergames. They don’t even hide, they proudly use the tag « hatred and shallow grounds » while we use « love and high plateau » on XHS yet PG crowned hate and buried love. Now I read that the Qixi multi won’t have Valko which is my biggest and final fear. However, after Caleb’s solo there will be only 15 days until Zayne’s birthday and my expectations are so low that I truly see PG not addressing anything until September and release my Rafayel myth. I’m so scared. I’m so tired by this situation, by the hate, the lack of empathy, the ableism, the racism but hope dies last. I want us to have a good ending, that all of this was not for nothing. I’m so tired.
