"I'll submit letter to RS Chairman, demanding Raghav Chadha & others be disqualified from RS for joining BJP"- Sanjay Singh Bhai, BJP is fast. Doesn't waste time in empty talks. Before u submit letter, BJP has already completed formalities for merger. Reportedly, RS Secretariat sources indicate that all formalities related to Merger have been completed. A letter from AAP MPs, listing 7 members, has been received and formally acknowledged by the BJP. The entire process has also been cleared by Rajya Sabha Chairman. Under the provisions of the Tenth Schedule, a merger requires a two-thirds majority—this condition has been met in the present case, and therefore, the question of disqualification does not arise. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has to understand that this reservation bill for our mothers and sisters has been stuck in Parliament since 1996. In 2010, it was passed in the Rajya Sabha, but not in the Lok Sabha. The Prime Minister has made extraordinary efforts to bring everybody together. But I am unable to find her during these days. We hope Debashish Samantaray doesn't meet the same fate. There has been an internal survey by the BJP, which has placed the party in a very bad way. So naturally, the BJP is bitter. It has started poaching leaders from other parties, and more so, in Odisha, from the BJD. Let's hope that these people find him worthwhile. But I sincerely pray before Lord Jagannath that he doesn't meet the same fate as Mamata Mahanta." (05.06)
