Breathwork, pass two. Rebuilt some UI. Less “zen app”, more “panic-adjacent engineering”. Sound on 🔊 Prototyped in Framer Workshop while I attempt to gently reeducate a deeply suspicious nervous system since mid October 2025. Sound wise: it’s one humble 4 second OP-1 sample. On exhale I bend the tone...

Koinos 101: Mana Do you think the internet would have taken off if you had to pay just 1 cent to visit a website? That's why we invented the Mana system which makes Koinos ... the first and only free-to-use blockchain. Owning the network It’s natural to think that holding a token like ETH, BTC, or SOL makes you an owner of those platforms, but if you were an owner, you would have a right to use those platforms forever. But you don't have that right. You only have the “right” to spend those tokens down as you use the network, which isn’t much of a right at all. On Koinos, the KOIN token works exactly like you think it would! Holding KOIN gives you a perpetual right to use the network, thanks to the Mana system. The more KOIN you hold, the more free usage, forever. Simple. Every KOIN token contains 1 Mana. When you use the blockchain, some of your Mana is consumed, but it regenerates in 5 days and if you only use a small percentage of your Mana it can regenerate in as little as a few minutes! Frictionless Access Mana can also be shared with people who have no tokens at all, which is what enables Koinos to deliver that familiar free-to-use experience that we get from the internet, and without forcing developers to pay the fees, because remember there are no fees. For the first time ever... developers can onboard users and allow them to the use the blockchain without first making them jump through the hoops of understanding and buying a cryptocurrency which is going to weed out the vast majority of mainstream users. That’s why we don’t have mainstream adoption! In short, KOIN has real utility; it gives you ownership over a certain amount of the network’s resources, a right which you can share with others. Koinos doesn’t force you to pay ever-changing fees all the time and it does all of this while preventing people from abusing the network. Be Free Because you never have to part with your KOIN which gives you the right to a certain amount of the network’s resources, this frees you, and every other KOIN holder, to focus on what matters; adding utility and making Koinos an even greater force for good. Rahul Vohra on how to measure product/market fit Rahul Vohra is the founder and CEO of Superhuman. He was looking for a metric to measure product/market fit so that he and his team could optimize, and he came across the following methodology from Sean Ellis: Simply ask your users: “How would you feel if you could no longer use the product?” with three options: (1) not disappointed, (2) somewhat disappointed, or (3) very disappointed. It turns out that the benchmark for product/market fit across hundreds of venture-backed startups is 40% of respondents saying “very disappointed”. And as Rahul puts it: “If more than 40% of your users would be very disappointed without your product, then you should focus on growing your company. If less than 40% of your users would be very disappointed without your product, then you’ll probably struggle to grow.” 40% may not sound like a lot, but it’s an incredibly hard benchmark to beat. For example, Slack posed this to 731 customers early in the company’s history, and 51% said they would be very disappointed without Slack. One might expect a terrific product like Slack to have a score of 60-80%, but that wasn’t the case. Rahul’s explanation of why the response options are focused on disappointment rather than happiness is interesting too: “I think the reason behind that is that if you ask people how they feel about a product and you give them positive potential responses, I think it invites more bias. People are more likely to be polite. And it also doesn’t get to the heart of the matter which is: how necessary has your product become in people’s lives? If you’re trying to build a company that’s going to stand the test of time, you really do have to build a product that matters and that people ultimately come to depend on because it’s just so incredible at what it does. And that’s what this question gets to the heart of.”

When I was 8 years old, my favorite thing in the world was making mixtapes for my Walkman from my big sister’s CDs. That evolved into Lego stop-motion videos, and later, I fell down the rabbit hole of editing Naruto anime clips to Evanescence & Linkin Park beats. Looking back, it’s obvious: Sound and Video were always the main drivers in my life. I think that obsession also led me to my true love: Motion Design. A huge shoutout to Kevin who showed me +10 years ago the world of Motion Design. And honestly, look at where we are now. Who would have thought that there would be such a massive hype around Motion Design and UI promo videos? From giants like Airbnb to the new generation of creators like sutoxoriginals. The visual standard in 2026 is insane. But there was always one part of the process that felt like a grind to me: Sound Design. I love the result, but I hated the process. I was spending 4-5 hours per project just searching for the right sound effects. "Key typing effect" "Mouse click" "Subtle Whoosh" and so on.. So, I decided to fix it. I sat down with a Dev friend and we spent the last few weekends building a native AI tool right inside After Effects. The concept is simple: SoundDesigner AI watches your video. It understands the vibe and exactly what’s happening and when its happening. It sees a clock ticking or a text appearing, and it generates the perfect sound for it in seconds, synced to the action in your timeline. I’ve been using it on my own projects for a few days now, and it’s wild. My sound design workflow went actually from 5 hours to 20 minutes. We are launching this in February (fingers crossed for the approval at aescripts+aeplugins) If you want to see where this goes and try it out yourself, drop me a DM

jihoon wants us to promise to have more fun at treasure concerts, film with your left hand and have fun with your right hand 🤙🏻 #지훈 🐶 you’re asking how yesterday was? yesterday was seriously so fun. it really was fun, but hmmm you guys need to have even more fun.. 🐶 you guys need to have more fun. teumes can def go harder than this, but you’re holding back. you guys can def do more, seriously, you really can but everyone kind of hesitates a little. just go out there and enjoy the atmosphere, got it? ok~? 🐶 i’m not saying don’t film or anything like that. you can film, it’s fine, i don’t mind it, because i think that’s the fans’ freedom. but i mean… film with one hand, your left hand, and use your right hand to hold your lightstick and have fun 🐶 but when both hands are on your phone like this… and i’m right in front of you… why are you looking at me through a camera filter first? you came to see me, so why… when i’m standing right in front of you, are you still only looking at me through your phone? it’s just a little disappointing to me 🐶 i’m not saying anyone is doing something wrong or anything like that, i’m just saying it feels a bit sad. i’m literally right in front of you, so why are you still looking at me inside your phone even when i’m right here? 🐶 and i know you want to take pictures, it’s okay. you can film it, keep it. it’s fine, because it’s not prohibited. in concerts where filming isn’t banned, ofc you can film. you want to take photos. ofc you want to take photos when your favorite singer is right in front of you, ofc you want to film it. i know that, we all know that. you can film it but film with your left hand and have fun with your right hand. let’s all make that promise. seriously, let’s really do it, film with your left hand and have fun with your right hand 🐶 because… when i’m like this, from up on stage when we look out like this, your gazes, your lightsticks, those kinds of things... when i feel like i’m directly interacting with each and every one of you like that.. i get out of breath like i might die, i get dizzy and everything, and my adrenaline gets pushed to the limit. but then if it’s all just iphone 17 pro maxes everywhere… it feels a bit disappointing 🐶 but i really do like that you film. i just feel a little regretful like if you film with one hand and have fun with the other.. like use your right hand properly to have fun, and use your left hand to film and capture everything… that’s how it should be, i guess. that kind of feeling 🐶 i’m not saying this to hear sorry from you guys. that’s not what i mean. i’m not saying you’re doing anything wrong, i just mean let’s all have fun together like that 💬 but oppa, if you’re playing with your right hand, the video in your left hand does get shaky so i just jump around and go all out 🐶 but even that shaking… i think of it as part of the live feeling

Liam Coen says analytics should inform decisions, never make them “We leverage analytics. Absolutely. We leverage it for the data and the information to make a decision, not to make the decision. That’s not how it goes. Ever.” “You have the data, AI, analytics, it is unreal. What are the true decisions that lie in the moment, in the now? What are the facts that you need to know? That’s great to leverage.” “We have game management. We have an analytics department to gather that information. But we are not making decisions solely based on those numbers. Ultimately, it has to come from the gut and from yourself.” “Is this the best decision for the Jacksonville Jaguars right now? Because that’s all you can live in. You’re living in every single play.” “I’m going to lean aggressive offensively, especially in year one when you’re trying to instill confidence. You’re trying to instill a mindset of, ‘Yeah, we are good.’ I believe we can go get fourth-and-two. We can.” “We talk about momentum a lot as a team. You can feel that. You can feel momentum. You know when you got it and you know when you don’t. I feed off that as a coach and I feed off the player’s energy on the grass and when they have confidence and momentum I want to roll with it, I want to keep it.” “When you have it you wanna stomp on it, you want to make them feel it.. That’s where the aggression comes in, you want to hold onto that and put your foot on the pedal. And as you grow as a coach there are times where you might be like, ‘Alright, may need to kick here. It’s going to be one of those kind of games.’” “So you have to be prepared, know your gut, go with your gut, feel this, all that’s going on around you, and make the best educated decision.”

Dear PTR, As a journalist, I have been on the ground for four days in Madurai Central constituency and I am reflecting on what the people of your constituency are saying. I am not here to endorse any candidate contesting in Madurai Central. If people are satisfied with your work, they will vote for you; if not, they will choose someone else. It is as simple as that. I have no agenda, nor any association or business alignment with the so-called individuals you referred to & I have never even met them. You are, in fact, one of the politicians I have interviewed the most since your entry into Tamil Nadu politics. If I am not mistaken, I was the first journalist to record a visual interview when you decided to contest from Madurai Central in 2016. I have written a lot about you in the past, acknowledging your work, not based on your claims, but on the voices of the people. Now that those voices are not in your favour, your response is to target and attempt to discredit journalists like me. The way you are speaking now is not just irresponsible, it is a direct attempt to intimidate and silence journalists who refuse to fall in line with your narrative. This crosses a clear line and cannot be ignored. As for my next pursuit, yes, it will remain journalism till my very last day. Instead of making baseless attacks, you would do better to focus on your campaign and address the concerns of your own constituency. I will continue to reflect the people’s voice and question the establishment & those in power, without fear or favour, as I always have. Dr P Thiaga Rajan (PTR)

Gang Starr - “Mass Appeal” “Mass Appeal” was a turning point for DJ Premier. I remember the first time I heard “Mass Appeal.” It was on Gang Starr’s 1994 album, ‘Hard to Earn.’ I played this song over and over. Serious repeat! What caught my attention the most was how Premier chopped the sample, and then arranged it in a way that the ends exploded every time the loop turned over. What’s more, at the point where the loop turns, there isn’t a dominate kick, which was typical of most hip hop/rap songs of that period. The absence of the kick on the loop turning point convinced me that Premier was in the midst of a sound change. Having heard his beatwork on ‘Illmatic’ just a couple of months before, I was wondering if his beats would be in the same vein or take a different direction. Two songs into ‘Hard to Earn,’ I knew Premier was going for a new sound. And what tipped me off was his experimentation with his drums. I was paying extra close attention to Premier’s use of the kick drum. Specifically, I was studying the ways in which he was starting to “relax” the punch of his kicks while still coming up with non-conventional drum frameworks. On “Mass Appeal,” it was if Premier had challenged himself to devise a moderately syncopated kick pattern underneath a deceptively simple sample arrangement. If you listen to “Mass Appeal,” pay careful attention to how the end of the sample seems to speed up. Truth is, it doesn’t. By chopping the end of the sample the way he did, and by easing up on the attack (the front-end) of the sample, an otherwise simple 1-bar measure is transformed into something akin to break in a record being “pushed” forward by the DJ. And what makes this all more complex than most people realize is the fact that the tempo — which stays the same throughout — is managed thoroughly by the kick pattern and shuffling hat pattern.

How to Identify Agents with Sound Alone: Audio Profiles Each agent in VALORANT has a unique walk sound. We can use this to identify who is moving around without seeing them AND without them using abilities. Each agent has unique tells, here's Proof: Key: (How Easy it is to Identify who is running) 🟢 - Extremely Easy to identify without trying 🟡 - Somewhat difficult until you know what to listen for 🔴 - Difficult, and needs practice In order of their names Alphabetically (up to Miks in release date) Astra - 🟢. Astra has golden, loose jewelry. This makes it easy to identify her because she is one of the only agents that you can hear it, and of those agents, it's the most consistent. She also has lighter steps as she is meant to be smaller than the other agents 5'6 (170cm) Breach - 🟢. Breach is easily identifiable by the heavy boots that he wears. He is one of the loudest agents in terms of walking as his boots as well as his radianite arms that are also quite loud, being made of metal. Brimstone - 🟢. Similar to Breach, Brim is also easily identifiable due to how heavy his footsteps are. What separates him from Breach is his boots are leather but stomps, likely coming from his military background. Chamber - 🟡. Chamber is what started this entire thing for me. You can identify chamber by his loose gold watch, which chimes as he walks. The reason this is yellow circle and not green is because it is not as frequent as Astra and he wears sneakers, which the majority of the cast wear. So besides the watch it can be somewhat difficult to identify, if you're not actively listening for it. Clove - 🟡. Clove is somewhat difficult, but what makes them unique is how soft / quiet they walk. They are very light, wears shoes that have a lot of cushion and is meant to feel like a smaller character, canonically 5'6 / 168cm. Cypher 🔴 - Despite playing a lot of Cypher, I have a really hard time differentiating him from other characters with similar patterns like Viper and Fade. Comapred to Fade, I would say his have more bass. Deadlock 🟢 - The only person you could mix Deadlock up with is Sova. However, Deadlock's walk has a much more "wet" sound to it, as if she were crushing in soft snow with her snow boots. Fade 🔴 - Too similar to other agents, especially Cypher makes it very hard to tell. The only thing that makes her unique is her consistency, the decibel spread is almost nothing. Gekko 🟡- Also pretty hard, as he is one of the many average weight sneaker users. He is very similar to Killjoy, but with more bass which is how i remember. He's wearing vans, it sounds like rubber. Harbor 🟢 - Extremely easy. You can hear his braclet from a mile away. One of the more unique ones. Iso 🔴- Another middleweight flat shoe wearer. I think he is meant to be heavier than agents like Gekko and Miks who sound similar. This is one wear you have to look at who is alive to differentiate between him and other agents. Jett 🟢- Extremely easy, maybe because I've heard it so much with the Jetts in my games, but I think the idea is she is meant to feel light and dainty, as if the wind is carrying her. That's why she walks so soft. She is also meant to be quite small at 5'4 / 164cm which corroborates the quiet steps. KAY/O 🟢- The easiest. Even people who don't play VALORANT could tell you that's the sound of a robot. The metal makes it very easy to tell. Killjoy 🟡 - Somewhat difficult, I think the giveaway are the boots. Like I said about Gekko, hers in comparison create softer sounds. Miks 🔴 - Really disappointed that Miks, the sound guy doesn't have anything unique to his walk. It is similar to Gekkos, in that it is rubbery but also muddy. Neon 🟢- Iconic. Being a runner, she is wearing running shoes. Not much said, I think anyone could hear the difference. Omen 🟡 - Somewhat difficult. You are listening for a "wet" sound when he walks. He has been out for long enough where I can hear it distinctly enough. Phoenix 🟡 - Somewhat difficult. You are listening for the same rubbery sound as Miks, but with a lot more bass, he drags his feet somewhat. Raze 🟡 - Hard to hear at first, but you are listening for a "mud" / squish sound. Similar to Omen, but not "stompy" Reyna 🟢- Maybe just me but I have an easy time hearing Reyna's. This is the one I can identify the quickest in game. I listen for a lot of bass towards the front of her step, as she has raised shoes which put more impact on her toes / balls of her feet. The sound is unique enough where you can her pretty clearly. Sage 🟡 - Somewhat difficult. Can be confused with Raze sometimes, as you are also listening for a "muddy sound" Skye 🟢- Very easy, she has trail shoes. Makes sense, she's from Australia. Sova 🟢- Again, similar to deadlock, Sova has boots made for winter, and there are feint sounds of him walking on ice. This one is somewhat similar to Skye, but not enough to mistakes the two. His has more bass. Tejo 🟡 - I didn't play as much when Tejo was popular, and this could be why I don't hear much differences in Gekko and Miks as well, but I find Tejo easier because of his heavty duty boots. Veto 🟡 - Somewhat hard to hear, only because I haven't played enough but there is dampness and a muddy sound to his walk similar to Raze, Omen etc. with that rubbery sound Viper 🟡 - somewhat hard to hear. Again, I think she sounds very similar to Fade and Cypher. But I think she is easier to identify because of the bass in each step. Vyse 🟢 - Very easy once you start listening. She has a lot of metal attached to her, which you can hear. Waylay 🔴 - Another middleweight rubber user. Hard to hear, but I haven't played with/against enough Waylay to really know her pattern. Yoru 🟢 - Iconic sound, you have been conditioned to hear this sound over and over with the Fake Footsteps and the reworked Yoru Clone + his fake clone of himself, he is most commonly walking around rather than sneaking, so you will probably become very accustom to him. Things to note: 1. These noises are NOT client / team sided. At the end of this video I show my friend walking as Chamber and Phoenix, you can hear a clear difference. He is on the ENEMY team, not mine. 2. You are NOT relying on audio alone. Agents all have their unique abilities which are significantly more telling of who is nearby compared to footsteps. The point of this exercise is to help identify WHO is there if there is no other way of knowing. 3. It is not meant to be used every round, hell even every game. I have really good hearing, so I can make good use of it. But as you can see by the red circles, it is not universal. Again, there are other more obvious ways of telling who is nearby. 4. But how is this useful? Well for me, I like to memorize the Controllers the most, because if I can identify that the sound of a controller's footsteps. I know they are not lurking, which allows for a little more peace of mind for my teammates rotating onto my site. 5. I used the same spot on purpose to show that they have different sound profiles. HOWEVER, it is important to note that with the different surfaces that you can run across, some of the noises that I described could sound different or harder to hear.

the lyrics from the song woonhak made as jaehyun’s birthday present 🧸🎵 “when the burden sitting on your shoulders feels heavy it's okay to put it down for a moment congrats your birthday just for today, it's okay to let go of what's been holding you tight and sleep peacefully brother has it been 4 years since i met hyung those strange jeans and heavy scented perfume the young me fell for that crooked charm asking you this and that about everything i had my first drink (in life) with hyung too and cried for a long time together too now we're sharing life together brother it might sound cheesy but can you get my sincerity? even if there comes a day when you feel like you’re on your own at least i'll always be by your side i know on those days when you feel like crying tell me, and let's share a drink you know you are my best friend it's strange, i can tell just by looking at hyung's face you shut yourself in the room, not saying a word again i know that anxiety won't fade away so easily that's why i'll hold on with you even if it breaks us your spring is coming soon so lift your shoulders high because hyung is my pride even if we died and were born again a thousand times i know some we'd still found each other my friend there's so much i'm sorry for and so much i'm grateful for but i'm sorry i don't express it well myung jaehyun i love you! even if there comes a day when you feel like you’re on your own at least i'll always be by your side i know on those days when you feel like crying tell me, and let's share a drink you know you are my best friend thank you for being the hyung i've always wanted to get since i was young i guess we can just grow old like this and share a coffin together”

Apple Vision Pro: My Initial Impressions I agree with some others. This is one of the most impressive pieces of tech I’ve ever used, but it's not perfect. The Good: • The eye tracking and hand gestures are simply incredible. The accuracy is like 99%. It’s quite intuitive and feels very natural. You can put your hands almost anywhere and it'll sense them. • I’m not exaggerating when I say Apple’s immersive videos made for the Vision Pro literally make you feel like you’re there in person. I felt like I was literally in the room with Alicia Keys while she sang, or traversing 3,000 feet above Norway’s breathtaking fjords while walking on a rope. My only complaint is that while Apple Immersive Videos are 180-degree 3D 8K recordings, they are still a little blurry. • You can use the Vision Pro while lying down in bed in complete darkness and the hand gestures will still work just fine (just like FaceID does in the dark). • In 2013 Apple introduced TouchID. In 2017 FaceID. With Vision Pro, Apple has introduced OpticID. It scans your iris and unlocks your Vision Pro when you put it on. It’s incredibly quick and accurate. And like FaceID, it's secure. It's what you will use to pay for things on the device as well. • I didn’t experience any vertigo, dizziness, etc while using the device. • I'm a bit of a display nerd. For the first time outside of a theatre, Avatar The Way of Water feels true to the directors creative intent. High frame rate (HFR) wasn’t possible in any other device. The 3D is exactly like the theatre. I went to a dolby cinema to watch it originally, and the Vision Pro gets it about as close to a theatre video quality experience as you can get. • The sound quality is really good. The spacial audio is very convincing. • The Vision Pro is heavy, but I found myself not caring all that much if i used the dual loop headband. • I was skeptical of the productivity side of the Vision pro, but wow does the mac virtual display work insanely well. You can easily edit videos or browse the web. • You can complain about plenty of things, but built quality is not one of them. It's really good and solid. The device feels very dense. • Neck strain was not an issue • I watched John Wick in one of the immersive environments, and the movie was reflecting onto the water perfectly. It’s was incredible. I'm not joking when i saw it literally felt like I was watching a movie on a 4K HDR screen in then middle of the wilderness. • Battery life is fine most of the time. The Not So Good: • The app ecosystem just isn’t there yet, which is understandable. That will happen over time, but currently there are only 600 apps built for the Vision. For developer, It doesn't make sense to make a custom Vision Pro app when there are only ~200k users in the ecosystem. • The field of view is kinda of small, which is disappointing, and sometimes a little distracting. It's not terrible, but I wish the FOV was bigger. • The passthrough video is dissapointinly low quality, though it’s still better than anything else on the market. You can’t read your small text on your phone. Colors are muted, and it's a little jittery. Future versions will be better no doubt. • It is sort of an isolating device. I almost guarantee you future versions of the Vision Pro will be able to connect with one another so two people can be looking at the same virtual safari window, movie, etc. • Price: It's expensive. • As I said above, while heavy, the weight of the VP was not an issue for me, but that doesn't mean I don't want it to be lighter. It does press against your face pretty hard, which can cause minor cheek area fatigue. Future versions will no doubt be lighter. Final Thoughts: Going back to my Mac felt weird. It suddenly felt like a technology of the past. If you have the money and want to be an early adopter, you’ll be happy with the Vision Pro. But I have to say, the second or third generation of this device, I think, will be better and cheaper, so it’s probably worth waiting for that. While it’s one of the greatest pieces of tech I’ve ever tried, I can’t see myself using this in my daily life yet, and for $3,500, I should be able to envision that. I'm going to give it a few more days, but I'll likely be returning it. The app ecosystem needs to improve and expand a lot. That's ultimately what will make or break this thing's success. Apple knocked it out of the park engineering this thing. It's mind blowing, but if i'm already mind blown, Imagine how good future versions will be.
