The cause was apparently a heart attack, per his father-in-law, the actor Orson Bean. Someone saw Mr. Breitbart collapse on the sidewalk, Bean added, and the paramedics were unable to revive him. Mr. Bean believed Breitbart had a history of heart problems. (NYT Mar. 1, 2012)

Bullshit...he had a heart attack..Minutes after exiting the bar, he collapsed in front of a Starbucks like a “sack of potatoes,” one witness said. Paramedics were unable to revive him. Later, his father-in-law said that Mr. Breitbart had a history of heart ailments.

He was diagnosed with heart failure a yr before he died. And thats what killed him. What a bunch of idiots.
