Brendan Tobin also calls out Adam Silver for punishing Miami for trying to win even though Silver is against tanking: “Miami Heat are sitting here and they’re guilty of like trying to win…and your response is ‘hey losers you’re trying to win? How about you take a second-round pick for your troubles a*sholes’ — what kind of way is that to respond? You sit on your high horse Adam Silver and you say “oh we’re going to do something about tanking’ and yet one of your franchises (Miami) that’s actively against it (tanking)…they get f*cked over because some team (Hornets) and you want to hide a scandal…” (via Brendan Tobin)

Brendan Tobin GOES OFF on Adam Silver and the NBA for not handling the Terry Rozier situation properly😳 “Obviously the League and Hornets know they did something wrong because they gave the Heat something…what they did wasn’t good enough…the commissioner should be ashamed of himself…he hid behind it like a mouse…it’s time for you to actually do your job and what you did in f*cking over the Miami Heat cannot stand…this (investigation) was not disclosed to the Miami franchise…Micky Arison you need to do whatever you can to make this right for your organization…this trade has not been finished yet and it needs to be reversed…” (via Brendan Tobin YT)

Brendan Tobin GOES OFF on the Celtics media for disrespecting the Miami Heat: “He’s sitting putting the Miami Heat at 11th in the Eastern Conference…he (Pina) thinks Paul George/Jaylen Brown are the same…so you’re telling me Boston keeping Jayson Tatum who has to play his first full season on an Achilles…has to team up with a one of the all time plateaued players — suspended for performance enhancement drugs…and that is your solution for the Boston Celtics…they’re not honest people — the Ringer…they already used their influence to take DPOY away from Bam…they didn’t want to give up Hugo Gonzalez and they wanna make fun of Heat fans…I find all of this laughable…” (via Brendan Tobin YT)

Stephen A. Smith says the Miami Heat leaking the LeBron James video was just them preparing in case he signs with their team: “If you’re the Miami Heat or any other organization — you are preparing for the possibility that LeBron James may choose you as a team that he’s about to come to…mistakes like that happen. Of course they’re (Miami) preparing for it…it just means if he (LeBron) decides to go there — you better be ready in a nanosecond to hype it up, announce it and be ready for the for press conference…a lot of people thought it was an indication that he may have secretly told the Miami Heat that ‘I’m coming to you’…” (via Stephen A Smith YT)

Theo Pinson says Pat Riley made a worse trade than Nico Harrison 😳 “That is a worse trade than Dallas and the Lakers, by far… Jimmy Butler was Heat culture. Regardless of what the f*** you thought he was doing off the court, that motherf***** brought a toughness. He brought a mentality. He had leadership. Bro, I swear to God, it did not matter what seed the Miami Heat were—if they got in the playoffs, any team that played them didn’t want to see him and had to buckle the f*** up.”

Zach Lowe says he heard nothing about the Heat trying to trade Andrew Wiggins or the Heat trying to change the protections on the 1st round pick they sent to Charlotte: “I didn’t hear a peep about Miami shopping Wiggins to get a extra 1st or Miami is trying to change the protections on the Terry Rozier pick to get an extra 1st. That may have been going on but I did not hear that…. I just didn’t hear much of that” (Via Zach Lowe)

Bill Simmons calls out Adam Silver for saying there’s not a solution for Miami with Terry Rozier “There is an obvious solution. He’s the commissioner he can just make a solution. Either waive the pick or make it so you can trade the contract even though he’s being investigated, but you can’t not do anything” (Via Bill Simmons) 🎯

CNN: Rubio was saying that there's a phobia built up about this sort of thing because the focus is on the Middle East… Ryan: It is such chickenhawk BS from Rubio, who's not served a single day in uniform to dismiss that as a phobia. You want to tell that to my friends on this bracelet that I lost in combat? You want to tell that to the innocent Iraqis that were killed? You want to tell that to the Venezuelan people who are saying, we're glad maduro is gone, as am I, but what the heck is the plan afterwards? And are we just going to hand this to another dictator who's going to do the will of our increasingly authoritarian president in Donald Trump?

"You got a lot of sh*t when Xi came to California." "The big narrative was you know we hear a lot about San Francisco and the homelessness and pooping on the road and all that kind of stuff. And it seemed like all of that was cleaned up when Xi came to town. Is that true? Complete bullsh*t. That's complete bullsh*t." Gavin Newsom

Wow. #Bills owner Terry Pegula says the coaching staff pushed to draft WR Keon Coleman and that was never GM Brandon Beane's top choice in that situation. "That was Brandon being a team player. ... He's taken heat over it. I'm here to tell you the true story." Wowza. I've never seen anything like this before... Coleman is still on the roster BTW.
