Jordy: I think what we’re seeing here is a clear separation from the pack — who the players are and who the pretenders are. The pretenders are the people who say they care about our country but have been sitting on their hands for the last eight months during this Trump regime. The players are the folks who get up every day and truly fight for our democracy. I mean, what we saw out of Newsom today — that’s what this country needs. It’s not just lip service. This is someone who truly cares about what’s happening and is literally screaming from the mountaintops that we have to take this seriously. Because if we don’t, who knows just how bad these maps can get in 2026, 2028, and beyond. It’s going to be insane. Macro note here for the Dems: not that I pretend to be some political strategist, but just as someone who gives a shit about this country — people want fighters. Gone are the days of when they go low, we go high. I’m sorry, but that America does not exist. When they go low, you take them out by their knees — metaphorically.

Yes these are White Supremacists who are part of a mainly right-wing group called the Patriot Front, marching in Nashville, Tennessee today. No, these are not FEDs or the FBI or the CIA. These are bad people. Bad people actually do exist. There are horrible people, who are extreme, who are also Republicans. There are horrible people who are extreme who are Democrats as well. I've just left the Mater Hospital after meeting health workers from many backgrounds who are genuinely terrified for their own safety and for the safety of their families. They are appealing for those behind these attacks to stop. These health workers are the people who care for us and our loved ones when we need them most. I made sure to share with them the deep appreciation that the vast majority of people have for the work they do every single day
