Brett Meiselas: [Donald Trump] has his propaganda that he wants to push, and the IRGC and the Iranian regime, they have things that they want to push to their people. And so you get these maximalist statements on both sides, oftentimes neither of which line up with the truth. But I do have to say, more times than not, the Iranian story has been far closer to the truth than what we're hearing with our own government here in the United States. That is something that is deeply troubling to me. That's something that takes a lot of getting used to.

Mockler: We just had a debate about which party was raising taxes on the American people. And you basically just won the argument for me by saying that Donald Trump raised taxes on the American people. But then you claim that the American people actually support it.

Trump: You have some vaccines that are so amazing. The polio vaccine I think is amazing. A lot of people think that covid is amazing. You know. I think you have to be very careful when you say that some people don't have to be vaccinated. You have vaccines that work. Just pure and simple they work. They're not controversial at all. And I think those vaccines should be used otherwise some people are going to catch it and they endanger other people. And when you don't have controversy at all, I think people should take them.

Brett Meiselas: Donald Trump has set the Iranian regime up—the oppressive Iranian regime that he acted like he wanted to overthrow in the beginning. He set them up to be richer than ever; he set them up to be a major player; he set them up to show that they could assert economic dominance not only over the United States but over the entire world by simply shutting down the strait. At the end of the day, Iran showed that they had the cards, and Donald Trump showed that he was a paper tiger.

If Senate Majority Leader Thune doesn’t nuke the filibuster and ensure that illegals cannot vote in elections by passing the SAVE America Act per the mandate given by the American people… then we have FAILED the American people. Rep. Steube: “80% percent of Democrats support the fact that only citizens of our country should vote. So you would think that even Democrats would vote for this. We only have John Fetterman who’s willing to be courageous enough and say well we all believe that only citizens of our country should vote but without nuking the filibuster you need sixty votes over there. So he can bring it up for a vote and then appease people like me and say you’re bringing it up for vote but if he doesn’t nuke to filibuster at least just do the talking filibuster to require them to actually talk and then bring it to a vote.” “The American people elected a Republican House… a Republican Senate and Donald Trump in the White House and if we can’t simply pass the fact that only citizens of our country can vote that we have failed the people.”

Why aren’t the Iranian people rising up to finish off the regime? President Donald J. Trump explains the realities of protesting inside a totalitarian state and why the regime is far weaker than it looks: “Glenn, if you were in that position, and you're a brave guy, I've watched your whole career, I've been a fan of yours for a long time. You're a brave guy, but I don't think you'd be standing out there when they have a machine gun nest. But you know, they have really snipers at the tops of buildings, and people go out to protest, and they get hit. And they don't have to hit many. But when you see five or six or 10 people go down, and you have 100,000 or 200,000 people, they leave. No, I don't care who you are, they leave. And it's very hard to protest when you have people that are willing to shoot you and kill you. And that's why they're not protesting.”

"When you have Donald Trump tweeting things like, 'Tonight we will annihilate an entire civilization, we will destroy Iranian civilization for good' -- I think even the people who may be against the regime take that a little personally." Ben and Brett Meiselas on how the Trump regime squandered Iran's pro-democracy momentum -- and handed the mullahs a rally-round-the-flag moment.

Ben Meiselas on how VP Kamala Harris should approach the debate against Trump: You have to repeat back to some extent what he just said, and then try to translate it for the people so they understand that he's an idiot...I think she needs to repeat Donald Trump and she needs to say, "To all the American people watching out there: I know how important childcare is for you. That answer right there was incoherent and dangerously ignorant. These are life and death issues, and that individual right there has no clue what he is talking about. Nothing that he just said made any sense. Let me tell you what I'm going to do. Let me give you facts and let me give you details..."

Tillman compares Zcash to CryptoPunks, a price held up by holders who don't need to sell "Here's the point I brought up earlier about like 40% of the public pool is owned by 100 wallets in Zcash." "They may all be diamond hands, like Bored Ape Yachts and CryptoPunks are. I'm just saying, that's the only reason why those things still command a price, because the people that own them are rich enough where they don't have to sell them." "And if the 40% of wallet holders on Zcash don't have to sell, because the price is up this high and they don't need the extra billion, then the price could go up higher." "But that's not real is the point. And people need to understand that." "That's not a real market, when you have concentration of that much of the currency in that few hands. What you want is a very, very shallow, very wide pool of holders."

Khanna: You have the signing off of the integration of our military with Israel. You have the American people who have been upset at our unconditional aid to Israel, who are upset that we supported Israel in what they did in Gaza. By the way, this is. Republicans and Democrats, both who have that view. And now you have the president of the United States saying this to the Saudis. It's just out of touch with what would bring peace in the Middle East or the American people.

Sen. Alex Padilla: If you are born in the United States, you are a citizen. Period. It doesn't get more clear than that. That Constitutional right has been under attack by Donald Trump. The Supreme Court said no, Donald Trump, you do not get to decide who gets to be an American. The Constitution decides and the people have stood up for the Constitution.

Brian on why pure people managers won't survive AI: "I don't think people that only manage people will have any value in the future. Everyone's going to have to be a hybrid people manager or manager IC. In other words, even the managers need to code. You can't just be these managers where you're people's therapists and you're just doing meetings, just one-on-ones. People who have lots of recurring one-on-ones are not going to survive. That kind of leadership style is not gonna work. You need to have context. I hear about heads of design, they don't actually manage the design. Johnny Ive manages the design. He designs and he leads people. A design leader who only manages the people that's crazy to me. The way Frank Lloyd managed his design team is through the work. You don't manage the people, you manage the work. I think a lot of people will survive this age of AI. The two types of people that will not survive are pure people managers, and people that are rigid and don't want to change and evolve."

Bannon: If you want to hold the Senate and get people motivated you have to have a leadership fight. If you don't have a leadership fight and nobody's prepared to step up and fight for it then that tells you everything you need to know about the US Senate. They've done nothing. You've had a handful of people in the Senate who have stood up and been real warriors but clearly not enough.
