I think the Ethereum Barbell strategy will prove right. One of the best investing lessons I learned came from Michael Rubin. Years ago on Shark Tank, he kept asking entrepreneurs the same question: “How big can this be?” At first, I thought it was an odd way to evaluate a business. Then he explained it perfectly, if you already know a business can never become large, why invest in it at all? Since then, I’ve adopted the same mindset. You can never know with certainty how successful a business will become, but every entrepreneur should be able to articulate the size of the opportunity they’re pursuing. The biggest winners often start with a simple idea, but they have the potential to scale into something much larger.
