The culprit in question is certainly not a person suffering from mental instability; however, his family is now employing the notion of mental instability as a justification to protect him and to dismiss the possibility that his actions constituted a hate crime. This is a day when words grow heavy. For what we feel goes beyond ordinary pain; What we experience surpasses ordinary mourning. In these days, we stand in silence filled with prayer. Our Holy Patriarch, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, has gone to be with the Lord bringing with him his labor and his works. We, his people, his flock, his spiritual children, are his works. The Lord sent him to us as one man, and he returns with an entire nation - so visibly, so united, so unified, as has been revealed in these solemn days. We are the generation of the Patriarch. We are witnesses to a unique event, when an entire nation is spiritually united around one person; When every active clergyman in Georgia has been ordained with his blessing; When nearly all Christians in Georgia have been baptized with his blessing. The present state, character, and form of our two-thousand-year-old Church have been shaped by him. His Holiness and Beatitude became that firm link for our nation and Church that connected our past to the present, and the present to the future, in an apocalyptic era of godlessness and nihilism. Truly, we have witnessed a miracle from God - the Georgian Church, risen from the ashes and shaped by him alone anew, with his own hands. He was able to do this because he understood what mattered most. In today’s world, many values compete for primacy - freedom, equality, solidarity, justice. This week I got to interview Hamish McArthur for Climbing Gold. One of the interesting nuggets was that he said one of his gifts as a climber (besides being the first person to climb V17 in a session…) was his ability to quickly assess and learn from his movement. It inspired me to start videoing attempts on the board, and lo and behold I sent a few things with subtle tweaks to body position, etc. I guess I may have to join modernity and start using video as a tool more…

Alright fam… enough is enough. Cam got caught up in a conversation that’s supposed to be about Jalen Hurts. Whether you disagree with his opinion or not, it shouldn’t be about what Cam Newton didn’t accomplished as a player. Shoot, I even had some fun with it after he said I play it “safe” as an analyst. So I’m part of it too! I work with the best in the game at ESPN, & they don’t need to validate their opinion… neither does Cam though. Let’s put some respect on both his name & Jalen for who they were/are as players.

His son faces real challenges from his disability, yet this father shows him every day that the only true limits are the ones we place on ourselves in our minds. Why does it often take someone society labels as “limited” to remind us all of this powerful truth? Amazing job, Dad. You’re inspiring so many hearts! ❤️💪

Mohsen Mahdawi spoke to CBS’ Lilia Luciano one day before his scheduled citizenship interview in Vermont, where the Columbia student and Palestinian activist was detained by immigration agents. Mahdawi told CBS: “The work and activism that we have done was centered in the energy of love. We did it because of our love for humanity, our love for justice, our love for human rights. I want people to know my compassion extended beyond the Palestinian people. My compassion is also for the Jewish people and the Israelis as well.” (Full interview at link below)

NEW: A McDonald’s bystander says Luigi Mangione heard his friend talking about him but decided to stay at McDonald’s anyway. “My one friend thought he looked like the shooter. He probably heard us. That surprised me that he stayed there as long as he did.” “From what I was told, the worker that took his order, she said his eyes and his eyebrows—she just thought it was him,” the man continued. Meanwhile, Mangione’s classmates are “shocked” that he is the murder suspect. Mangione’s cousin, a Maryland state delegate, released a statement, saying, “Our family is shocked and devastated by Luigi’s arrest. We offer prayers to the family of Brian Thompson, and we ask people to pray for all involved.”

Bryson is on day 8 of trying to make a hole in one over his house. How long will it take him? What are the odds? Let’s run the numbers. 👇👇 If you have not seen this, Bryson is trying to make a hole-in-one, over his house, to his backyard green. It's AWESOME. I *think* the shot is about 100 yards. He hits one shot on day one. Two shots on day two. Three shots on day three. Etc.. So how many days will it take him to make an ace? From 100 yards in the fairway the chances a tour pro holes out is *about* 1 in 500. Bryson has a “blind” shot with a perfect flat lie on a mat. And he is hitting the same shot over and over. Does that move his chances to somewhere between 1 in 100 and 1 in 250? Let’s put his chances at 1 in 175 (just a guess). Assuming his odds are 1 in 175, what are the chances he has at least one ace by: Day 10: 27.0% Day 15: 49.7% Day 20: 70.0% Day 25: 84.5% Day 30: 93.0% Day 35: 97.3% Day 40: 99.1% Day 45: 99.7% Day 50: 99.9% What I am more interested in is his chances to skull one 12 feet off the ground. 😂 If you are not tuned into this, it’s awesome. Or how that same judge busted his team for misrepresenting the condition of materials seized during the Mar A Lago raid. Or how Judge Cannon almost kicked one of his henchmen out of court one day over his disrespectful temper tantrum at her. Or how she constantly pressed his team as to why they conducted the entire investigation in DC rather than Florida. Or how he and Judge Jeb Boasberg refused to produce grand jury transcripts from that investigation to her. I could go on… Also his defense of Brian Driscoll (a “folk hero” Smith says) is hilarious. Driscoll was fired for refusing direct orders to produce a list of FBI employees involved in J6 investigations.

In his video, he pointed out that Verydarkman has a very large platform and that his opinions carry significant influence over Nigerians. According to him, saying that what the girl did isn’t a crime could encourage more people to go ahead and do the same thing if she goes unpunished. He also mentioned that Verydarkman keeps emphasizing that Mirabel young and she’s just 18. However at 18, you are legally an adult and expected to face the consequences of your actions.
