In November 1979 Forest were on a poor run so I wrote to Brian Clough expressing my displeasure. Of course the great man wrote back.

Still think we need a statue outside the ground of Cloughie and Taylor ♥️

Think I'll grab something from this shelf for tonight's viewing. Thanks for the contribution duck, you weren't half well liked #nffc

Can we now officially use the terms BC and AC to register dates in Nottingham Forest's history up to 6 January 1975 and after 8 May 1993. #nffc

Sadly I’m not Nottingham blood but he was the sole reason why I’ve supported this team since I was old enough to watch and play football. The game was better for him and would of brought victory to our nation given the chance _____________

He put Nottingham Forest well and truly on the footballing map, to which our club name is still highly respected around the world right up to this day.

A good excuse as any to watch this awesome documentary tonight.

Legend is a term used too often these days. However, this man was a true legend of the game. His persona was a huge loss, but his legacy lives on ❤️🌳

THE MAN THE MYTH THE LEGEND. People who are known by 1 name are very special people indeed and when you mention "Cloughie" everybody in the footballing world knows exactly who you were referring to. That's how special Brian was & nearly 3 decades after he left we still love him

Quite simply the greatest. They don't make them like Brian anymore. He was unique and a genius. Never forgotten. ❤️ #NFFC
