🗣️ Mikel Arteta on whether he has spoken to other managers or the Premier League about potentially changing the rule: “Yeah, but I think more than asking anybody else, the question has to be to the players. “What do they want? “If they raise their hands and say, ‘No, I prefer to stay at home and not travel,’ I think we have an issue, because then they don’t love what they do, which is matchday. “I’m sure that if you ask the players, everybody would like to be part of the squad on matchday because that’s the way that they can fulfil themselves. “Otherwise, you have to tell somebody, ‘You are not even part of this matchday,’ and that’s really, really tough. “It doesn’t help anybody. “It doesn’t help the club. It doesn’t help the valuation of the player. It doesn’t help the player feel part of something. “In my opinion, it’s a real issue that has a really, really simple solution.”

The American public is not Trump's therapist. This campaign cannot be a national therapy session for a deeply flawed man. If Trump doesn’t want to debate then he doesn’t want to be president.

If Chet supposed to be one of the BEST defenders in the NBA… why is he not guarding Wemby??? Why would you think having a small 6’3/6’6 guarding Wemby be a good idea?

Stephen A. Smith holds a mirror up to the Democrat Party, exposing how their hatred of Trump over policy is costing them elections. Whoopi and the cast of The View did not like it one bit. Producers quickly cut to commercial and ended the segment. SMITH: “What I’m saying is, is that during the campaign were you doing what it takes to win?” “You had too many people going after him for stuff that wasn’t going to stick. It wasn’t going to influence his voters.” “So what I would say to you, Whoopi and what I would say to anybody that doesn’t want J.D. Vance or Marco Rubio or somebody like that to succeed him, focus on what’s going to win!” “That’s where my sports background comes in. Tell me what’s going to win!” “I don’t want to hear about…I understand the LGBTQ community is important. I understand that the desolate and disenfranchised, somebody we should be looking out for, I understand the economy and I understand immigration, I get all of that.” “But the point is, I’m trying to win to make sure that I’m in office and you’re not. What is it going to take?” “The Democrats did not do that last time, and that’s what happened.”

Cey: Aren’t you going to say anything, Melek? Didn’t your brother tell you right in front of you that he doesn’t love Sultan? Why don’t you tell him it doesn’t suit you to deceive someone you don’t love? Melek: Does it suit you to deceive the person you love, Ceylan? Cey: I don’t understand. Melek: What the hell are you up to? Cey: What are you saying, Melek? Melek: I saw you, that’s what I’m saying. You’re still madly in love with my brother. Does someone kiss and smell a t-shirt for a person they don’t love like that? Cey: After all, I’m human too. I’m not saying I didn’t love him. Melek: Look, you’re lying. If you don’t tell me right now why you told this lie, it could be too late for everything, Ceylan. Cey: It’s already too late for everything, Melek. Melek: No, it’s not too late for anything. If you have an explanation for the man you love, it’s still not too late. #Yeraltı #AlCey

Why anybody would expect somebody else to pay for them is beyond me. Even if it was a close friend, I would think about it. If it did not happen often and I didn’t think they were trying to finesse me then I would more than likely do it. It sounds like in this case, the friend does this often and doesn’t pay her back. I have a name for someone like this and it’s a moocher. We will all have a friend like this in our lives and I think there will come a time where we have to decide whether or not this is something we are willing to tolerate. I would never do this to anybody else. If I had dinner plans but not enough money, the solution would be very simple, I would apologize and then cancel. I would y tell them why because that doesn’t matter. What matters is that I don’t have enough and I am not going to put my problems on anybody else. Friend’s like that have a short timespan to actually be a friend. I feel that people who do this are taking advantage and they know exactly what they are doing.

Brian Windhorst says the Portland Trailblazers could be leaving Portland: “It’s getting worse by the day. The rhetoric between the politicians and the Trailblazers is deteriorating. On Monday, the Blazers board of Directors have a meeting. And i have no idea what’s going to come out of that meeting. But it could be a declaration of all our war. The city wants the Blazers to sign a lease to get the money to renovate their arena. The quotes about this are tremendous. From a top Blazers official directly “why would the city send this knowing we aren’t going to sign it?” Another quote “ the city of Portland doesn’t even recognize they have a sweetheart deal, if they don’t want us then that’s fine.” - Brian Windhorst This is huge news for the Portland Trailblazers 😳

At the Race War Q&A last night, I said it plain: We were taught to stop building and start begging. That mindset destroyed black culture. If somebody doesn’t want you somewhere, why are you begging to be accepted? That’s not dignity. That’s dependence. Watch this clip. #RaceWar #VinceEverettEllison
