Here’s what’s going to be really interesting about Tom Aspinall signing with Eddie Hearn: There are times when the UFC calls up fighters and says, 'We’re not talking to your manager. If you want this fight, if you want this deal, you’re going to have to talk to us.' So the UFC could just say, 'We’re not talking to you.' Then Tom could say, 'Well, if you’re not talking to him, you’re not talking to me.' There’s going to be a game of chicken here. Tom’s not a free agent. He’s the champion. We all know how long it takes to get out of a contract. So this is going to be a fascinating story to follow.

Rashad McCants says you can’t compare nobody to Lebron James he is the Greatest of all time “I don’t like people saying you got to compare players at 40 to LeBron. Everyone else is not Lebron it’s not a fair comparison to all the other players because he is different he is cyborg. He has nothing wrong with his body he can do this for another 5 years he is one of a kind he is different. We are witnessing greatness” (Via Gil’s Arena)

Pat Riley on LeBron James 👀 “As far as the 24 year veteran that is something that would happen organically. I hope I’m not talking out of both sides of my mouth here but you never know that you’re ever going to win a title until you win one. But you’ll never win one if you don’t have the talent and the coaching to do it… he knows what he wants. He knows what he has to do.”

Brian Windhorst says NOBODY knows what team LeBron is joining: “You talk to these teams who are interested in signing LeBron and it’s all one way information. This is how his previous Free agency’s have operated. Nobody has known. Dwyane Wade and Bosh got about 12 hour heads up when he came to Miami.. he keeps a very tight circle and when it comes to announcing this FA he does a very good job of keeping a secret. There’s a lot of people who are basing things on vibes…. I think Giannis’ heart was beating not just because he would love to see LeBron join him in Miami but also because the team that gets him will be format able”

I think the presenter is on to something big, but where I disagree with her is that she accuses African leaders and gives a subtle pass to African citizens. It is not true that African citizens were oblivious to what Trump or Epstein are. They knew, but they simply did not have the ability to think critically that when Trump talks about LGBT issues, it is not necessarily that he does not support them, but that he understood there is a group of foolish people out there who would buy into that rhetoric without interrogating why he was deploying it. Some of Trump’s best friends, like Peter Mandelson, are gay, yet some Africans were foolish enough to believe that Trump is anti-gay. He simply understood how human beings operate, that there are times when people fail to think, a tragic failure to think, and they just go with the flow. If you ask Africans today what they gained from the perceived homophobia that Trump projected, which we know was political theatre targeted at a particular audience, they will not be able to tell you. Trump might be many things to many people. I do not like him and everybody knows that, but the one thing I respect him for is that he understands his audience. He knows what to say when he is talking to foolish people. He knows what to say when he is talking to idiotic people. He knows what to say when he is talking to sycophants. He knows what to say when he is talking to people who do not understand the world of politics, and he gets away with it. And for that, I give it to him. He becomes a political superstar precisely because you then have black people in Africa supporting him. That in itself shows you the scale of political illiteracy that exists, where people rally behind rhetoric crafted to manipulate them, not to advance their interests.

Rob Parker DESTROYS Lebron for complaining about ring culture 🔥🔥 "If he had enough rings to be considered the greatest it would be ok,typical Lebron he doesnt feel like hes going to get there and its going to be held against him. So now hes going to downplay the ring, if it wasnt about that why did you leave cleveland to go to miami chasing rings, youre the one who did it, youre the one who ran away, youre the one who put together a superteam so that you could win rings" Also goes on to mention him being scared not to win thats why he joined miami, and him saying he was going to win not 1, not 2,not 3,not 4,not 5,not 6,not 7,not 8 championships and now hes saying this. Calls him a phony and says hes tired of hearing this. Says hes the one that keeps leaving to chase rings because he looked at Michael Jordan, Also says its not only about rings and mentions Michael Jordan was a great player who also had 10 scoring titles and the all time leading scorer in the postseason. Says Lebron wouldnt be talking about this if he had 8 or 10 rings

LeBron + Giannis + Bam Can’t Win a Ring!? TJ Houshmandzadeh Says Miami Still Won’t Be Good Enough to Make It Out of the Eastern Conference: TJ: “If he goes there, they are not winning. They not winning. LeBron, Giannis, and Bam are not winning a championship. I’ll bet that one. Acho: “Hold on now…. I love a front court of LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Bam Adebayo. You have length, you have athleticism, you have size, the IQ, the toughness… Bruhh, that’s a squad right there.” TJ: “But they’re not beating the best teams in the East with those three guys. They’re not beating the Knicks. They’re not beating Philadelphia. They’re not beating the Boston Celtics. I didn’t even get into Cleveland or the Atlanta Hawks, who I think will be an improved team. If he goes to Miami, he ain’t going to chase a championship.” (🎥: Speakeasy)

My 8 year old son says he wants to go pro. He does not want to get better at baseball. 2 completely different things. He will mess around in the yard all day and loves pitching and playing catch. 5 minutes of actual, focused work and he is out. And his swing is literally 2 sessions away from looking completely different. I could have him destroying baseballs. So here is where I have landed. I am not going to force it. I have coached those kids and they are gone by 12. I am also not going to pretend he is fine when I know he could be better. So I keep it fun, I keep it available, and I tell him stories about all the things I did not want to do that I did anyway. And now Im just being patient and waiting. Because when he knocks on the door, it is his. It's his life. His baseball career. Ill be there whenever he wants, and Ill encourage from time to time. But Im not gonna force him. The game itself will teach him and he'll have to decide if he wants it or not. When did it click for your kid? 👇
