And there are other people who felt like a lot of the Clippers penalty with Kawhi Leonard had been doled out over time because this Kawhi Leonard arrangement was an absolute disaster for them. I will say that there's a lot of people that made a lot of assumptions about Adam Silver along the way. This is big of a punishment has ever been doled out in the history of the NBA. He has been presumed to be soft on crime to a certain extent at times over the years. That's not something you can say today"

The thing that comes along with this is, some other outlets as well as the athletic have reported that the league was looking at a 2nd deal involving Kawhi. And the trade to Toronto was slowed down. The other thing that’s interesting to me is Daktronics didn’t come out with a statement that completely denied this whatsoever. They had a crisis PR man say something like Kawhi is not under contract right now. It was not a full denial. This to me is extraordinarily troubling. The lack of response for days on end.
