Notice how she didn’t harass the teachers or threaten them, she raised her kids instead. 10/10

Kids have it lucky now. We use to miss a deadline get a zero and there was no turning it in later to get credit lmao

When I was able to control the wifi from my phone…it was over for my bonus kid. He couldn’t do nothing but look at that PlayStation until I got home. And it wasn’t coming back on until the homework was done and the chores were done. It’s so easy to control the electronics generation. Like robots.

THANK YOU for allowing your kids to be mad at you and not giving in. Well fucking done.

This is exactly how my Mom was growing up. If the grades weren’t up to par that meant no tv, no computer, no car, nothing. Crazy that a lot of parents nowadays would call this “extreme”.

Please bring back parenting because when they get to college, they act surprised that there are deadlines and that they don’t have the entire semester to turn in assignments late.

I love this mom. I take pics off work that needs doing for my F kids, watch them put it in their backpacks, TEXT THE PICS TO PARENTS…and nope, still not done. I CANNOT make a kid care more than their parents do.

Bc why do kids think they can just NOT do the work?! My son and I go thru this. He’s a bright person, but not that good at being a student. They have to be taught consistency and to apply themselves these days.

IT'S MAGIC!!!! IT'S A MIRACLE!!! Ask any teacher. Not every single time....but for most kids...it's the goddamn phones.

But she has a husband to be the enforcer, if she didn’t have a husband or a man at home, this wouldn’t happen

“Hello Housekeeping” was hilarious. Good on this family teaching their kids the biggest lessons which is discipline and responsibility.

I can relate 100% Story Time: I was taking Spanish in high school. At the time I felt the teacher “was out to get me”. So in turn I wasn’t doing the work, turning in assignments, failing the tests, pretty much not doing what I needed to do as a student. My mom saw my grades, and wanted to have a parent-teacher conference. I objected, but eventually my mom and dad had the conference with my teacher (and the way they scheduled it was funny now that I look back at it). My parents come home from the school and my mom tells me she spoke with the teacher. She tells me from that day on, I’m going to do bring all my books home, do all my homework for that day and I’m going to make up ALL my missed assignments. I said that the missed assignments wouldn’t be graded.. she said it didn’t matter, I’m doing it anyways. Shortly after I do all that work and catch up on the missed assignments, I take a quiz in class. I passed with an 84. From there my grades start climbing like a rocket. It all comes together when I requested to take my final a day early because I was going on a family vacation. Teacher obliged and I take my test. I come back from the vacation to find out that not only did I pass, but I was the highest grade in the ENTIRE class. And by entire class, I’m talking every class that teacher had taught.. I got the highest grade out of everyone. If my mom didn’t do what she did, I don’t know where I would be at.

As a former teacher, homework shouldn't exist. It sets the students up for failure who have different living situations outside of school. It isn't necessary and should be abandoned.

So I’ve been doing this and my son’s grades has improve drastically! But my son’s father thinks I’m being too hard on him and that he has a “neurological disorder” coming from the man who only sees his son biweekly 🤷🏾‍♀️

She nicer than me because you can’t do any of those things until you read for 30 minutes, complete IXL math/science skills until you achieve 85% accuracy & do a page from a work book which is reading, comprehension, and/or language arts, a foreign language lesson

Yep! We must be and stay present!! I volunteered and became employed by the school. I never let up! And... My children were not allowed to attend dances. Even though... I would chaperone!!♡ It was sports! And music... Not sleep overs... And, I had (still do) happy children!♡ And..yes, let the children rest for a bit once home. I'd let my children relax for an hour. Then.. half of the work. [If they didn't like it] I carved out time for later.. I LOVED/had fun being a mama!💞 If done correctly. It pays off!♡ Good citizens!💞

I wonder why this wasn’t already happening before, why it took her kids grades dropping to decide to give them responsibilities and structure at home…

Some kids simply aren't meant to be students, as the system isn't built for everyone. If you tried this with me, you'd die of exhaustion. Spare phones will be used 😭
