It was the best of times!

In the 50’s, most people (even the ones who did not go to church) had good manners. A man would not cuss in front of a woman or child, men opened doors for women, even women they did not know, children were better behaved, and could play safely outside neighborhoods, moms took care of their families…etc etc. Young people of today cannot even imagine it. It was so much better!

If only we had a time machine to go back to a more civilized time
