Yep — California Governor Gavin Newsom is sending in the National Guard as a result of Donald Trump's disastrous government shutdown. Newsom will deploy the California National Guard and California Volunteers on a humanitarian mission, essentially against Trump, to support food banks as the federal government shutdown delays food benefits for millions of California families. So think about the contrast: Donald Trump sending the National Guard into cities to destroy people's lives and attack people living in the United States.
