Marley gave up the moral high ground by continuing to use titans to wage their own wars, treated Eldians so heinously that they eventually created Grisha and Zeke, before eventually trying to eradicate Paradis and failing to do it, then loudly declaring war on them with the explicit goal of killing then all. At which point you can just shrug and ask “Well, what did you expect to happen?”

Because this doesn’t negate the main reason for The Rumbling. The entire world wants to exterminate them. It wouldn’t end the cycle of hatred for everyone, it wasn’t supposed to. It was to end the cycle of hatred towards Eldians, which it would’ve done.

Isayama made no effort to show the outside world other than Marley and basically made it out to be everyone fucking sucks outside of a handful of characters and that they want to kill the people we as readers actually care about and have actually learned about. Ofc we didn't care

I certainly don't expect the rumbling to solve all human conflict, but the point is it does guarantee the Eldians don't get genocided themselves. All this video is saying is "war is inevitable regardless", with the implication being you should just give up and let them kill you

Well thank god she proposed a solution for Paradis. Something that would have made Eren go "wait we have another path" and would have made the Yeagerist feel secure enough to postpone the rumbling. Something that would work within the like 1 year time frame that Eren had.

Isayama made the rumbling the most justified most necessary action paradis had to stop it's extermination. Kiyomi, his asian self insert, is objectively wrong since conflict and war does not equal genocide. Paradisians would war with each other. The world would kill them all.
