You missed one of the cheapest fixes. Follow places like Japan that immediately deport for minor anti social behaviour. This is also valuable as almost every serious offence by a non-citizen is not their first offence. You should deport on the minor, high frequency to avoid the serious low frequency.

🚨 Well done to Sgt Kelly Palmer for speaking out and revealing just how serious the problems within our police force have become. It is genuinely alarming to hear how stretched and ineffective parts of policing have become, with officers struggling to provide the service the public rightly expects. We have got to rebuild frontline policing, giving officers the numbers, resources, training and backing they need to actually police our communities, investigate crime, catch offenders and keep people safe. The public should be able to report a crime knowing it will be taken seriously and properly investigated. We need policing focused on fighting crime and protecting the public. That has to be the priority. 👮

Not ‘protected characteristics’ There is a duty for us to get this resolved fully now. I want to see common ground all citizens together. That means ending these measures and insisting on policing treating everyone equally I condemn violence. I have shown in posts how others do not do so when it ‘suits their argument’ We must sort this out openly robustly democratically It’s not the role of law to Sort out social issues. Met Police commissioner Sir Mark Rowley tells LBC the government ‘is silent’ on what impact sentencing reforms will have for policing. He says having more criminals on the streets instead of behind bars will ‘wash back on policing’ and chiefs need to know ‘how many more hundreds of millions’ of pounds are needed to deal with it. But the data hasn’t been shared with them. It’s as he - and five other chiefs - publicly urged the chancellor for more money in next month’s sentencing review, saying plans to halve knife crime and violence against women can’t be achieved without it. ‘We felt over the weekend we had to put this out there to say don’t forget about policing’. He adds: ‘demand for police is going up 5% a year. With all that pressure, we need more money’.
