Even in the 1700s English women deciding not to have sugar because of the slave sugar cane plantations. Because of the Christian faith, heritage and culture, we went to war against anyone in the world to put a stop to slavery. Certain middle eastern countries didn't stop it until the 1960s due to pressure from the West - maybe a reason why there's some animosity from them toward the West. There are reports it's still going on in those places. The world 🌎 owes Great Britain for leading the way, through sacrifice, righteousness, and justice, a deep gratitude - statutes and sculptures should be erected around the world honouring the British people. No surprise, our ancient LAW shaped the Western world in a considerably awesome way.

Muslims were engaged in slavery in Africa from the seventh century until the present. It was significantly worse than the Atlantic slave trade which lasted for only a couple of hundred years compared to 1400 years with Muslims. Slavery had existed in Africa for thousands of years before any Europeans became involved. Africans enslaved Africans. Then Africans sold slaves to Muslims when the Islamic armies conquered North Africa enslaving many of the people they conquered their. Africans are just ignorant about their own history.
