The Vassal State by Angus Hanton is a great read on the subject. Goes into why @thameswater would rather pay the fine than deliver on the infrastructure to avoid further fines.

Wow that is interesting and disturbing in equal measure.

It could encourage more UK startups and more global business knowledge in the UK. Could also mean a smaller pipeline for UK investors and higher taxes.

I think this probably has more to do with the City of London corporation finally having its global power and control removed by Trump. C of L is now having its bones being picked over by the globalist vultures, leaving beautiful England to rot under imported Islam.
