Good article on the royals and the parliamentary gagging order. FYI you are wrong about support for monarchy as shown in polls. Some polls have shown support as low as 45% with support for Republicanism at 34% .

Crimes against Women and Children are rising on a daily basis in WB because TMC Govt's policy of sheltering the Criminals have emboldened them to act without fear. This time a 7-year-old Girl was found raped and murdered at Jaigaon, in the Alipurduar District. What's shocking is that a huge number of Police personnel have been deployed around 2 kms ahead of the victim's house, to prevent elected public representatives from meeting the victim's family members. Darjeeling MP Shri Raju Bista and Kalchini MLA Shri Bishal Lama were on their way to meet the grieving family, but the insensitive Police personnel obstructed them. What is the Police trying to hide by preventing elected public representatives from meeting the victim's family? Who is instructing them to prevent public representatives from finding out the truth about this heinous crime. Why the Police, who are yet to nab all the suspects are prioritizing unnecessary jobs. This incident is another example of the abject failure of the WB Govt, who time and again fail to protect Women and Children.
