At 7:30 am, PLA troops from a border defense regiment under the Shigatse Military Sub-command of the PLA Xizang Military Command set out from Gyirong Town and reached an area about two kilometers from Gyirong Port, where they joined other rescue teams in clearing mud and debris. As road-clearing operations continue, heavy engineering vehicles are moving in and can now operate within about one kilometer of Gyirong Port, significantly speeding up efforts to reopen the road.

Around 40 Pakistani fighter aircraft were airborne, but still couldn’t stop the IAF. Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra says that during the initial strikes of Operation Sindoor, Pakistani aircraft were airborne from the Peshawar and Sargodha areas. Yet they could not react as Indian aircraft delivered their weapons and returned safely. Upon arrival, investigators found that an Audi Q8 e-tron lost control and struck three parked cars. The driver of the Audi car sustained injuries during the impact. No other citizens or bystanders were injured in the incident, as the impacted vehicles were unoccupied at the time. During the invasion of Iraq, Britain's 7th Armoured Brigade pushed towards Basra with Challenger 2 tanks, Warriors and infantry from units including the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and Irish Guards. On 26 March, a large Iraqi tank force tried to attack the British positions. Challenger 2s of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards engaged them, with 15 Iraqi T-55s destroyed and no British tanks lost in the battle. A few days later, British forces were pushing into Basra itself. Watching this footage now, it's easy to forget just how much of the British Army was committed to this operation. These weren't training exercises. This was the REAL thing.

Miraculously, no one was hurt… and the Bulldog itself escaped unscathed. Even more bizarrely, after the rampage the soldiers parked the armoured vehicle neatly in a parking bay before calmly heading back to their barracks. HUD Tape from an F/A -18C Hornet as it destroys an Iraqi MiG 21 approaching head on at supersonic speed. On January 17, 1991, during Operation Desert Storm, U.S. Navy pilots Mark Fox and Nick Mongillo flying F/A-18C Hornet jets from the USS Saratoga shot down two Iraqi MiG-21 fighters in under 40 seconds while still carrying full bomb loads. Both pilots went on to drop their ordnance on their targets and return to their carriers. These two kills were the only two fixed wing air-to-air kills by U.S. Navy jets during Desert Storm. Both F/A-18s flown that day now rest in museums. **FULL DISCLOSURE** I believe this HUD tape to be authentic. I have not found any evidence that this is unauthentic. I know the radio calls are authentic.

A serious multi-vehicle crash in Inwood, Manhattan, left three people injured early Thursday after a speeding Corvette collided with a Mercedes-Benz SUV. Police said a Corvette was traveling eastbound on Sherman Avenue at a high rate of speed around 6:30 a.m. when it slammed into the Mercedes near West 204th Street. The Corvette then struck a 34-year-old pedestrian on the sidewalk before crashing into a building. The Mercedes continued into a parked, unoccupied moped and damaged other parked vehicles. The Mercedes driver fled the scene and remains wanted. The Corvette’s 27-year-old driver identified as Eric Torres, a passenger, and the pedestrian were all taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition. Torres was later arrested and charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Authorities are investigating whether the vehicles were involved in street racing or drag racing; witnesses reported the Corvette had been driving recklessly including doughnuts earlier that morning.
