I see a bit of Basil Fawlty in Matthew Rhys' character in the excellent 'Widow's Bay'. Also a bit of Joyce Grenfell (St.Trinians) in Kate O'Flynn's character. Both British actors. Basil (John) and Joyce would have been good together. @JohnCleese
