The only answer is for the conservatives to rediscover their true conservatism, so long dormant, and start advocating for the things they used to believe so long ago. Otherwise we are basically screwed.

Reform/Brexit Party is not UKIP which, while forgotten, is still active. Farage left UKIP to deliver the votes to the Tories. Batten took over UKIP that started raising, to stop this he formed the Brexit party as controlled opposition. Batten was removed, Farage paused. When the Tories shot themselves in the foot, Farage re-presented himself as Reform to offer a place for Tories to go. Reform is the Tory party 2.0.
