We stopped in at the hospital late last night before bed to see Brix and chat with the Doctor. Dr. Bruce said she was happy with his progress and that she felt he was much better than yesterday. Brix was bright eyed, hungry, and much more comfortable we felt. He was super happy to see us and wanted us to feed him food. We will take the baby steps wins, as Monday morning he was on the cusp of death. Not every pet has a happy outcome being as sick as Brix was and Brix is still sick, we hope that anyone who reads this and had a much different outcome with their pet knows that we feel for you. It’s been a rough couple days, and Brix is still here. Not everyone gets that chance.
