That mongrel is -somewhat- tame, definitely not domesticated

Coyotes really are beautiful creatures. Last one I saw walked past the end of my driveway while I was washing my car. Probably just wanted some water. Ran off, showed me zero aggression. Beautiful colors. A week later it tried to eat one of my neighbors dogs. 😬

Trained and domesticated aren’t the same thing.

When it eats his grandkid or some kid in the neighborhood, he’ll be on TV crying about how the coyote is well behaved and never acted aggressive before. Bonus points if he blames the kid for spooking the coyote.

Coyotes can be pretty cool. I used to ride a dirt and would visit a pack of them a cpl times a week. They got to know me and weren't afraid of me.
