This is only for raw denim, like how you wouldn’t wash a leather jacket the normal way. That being said, the sun will eventually fade the color so you may be doing more damage to the fabric if overexposed

@JoshyBeSloshy It's not the washing that ruins clothes if u wash on permanent press & use fluff dry setting on the clothes dryer or hang to dry. Using an electric clothes dryer on hot heat settings eats holes in ur clothes.
