175k a year in interest alone with conservative numbers. You can live on that.

Love how it’s “not worth it to work” when it’s the perfect amount to work and not worry about having to save any money lmao.

Bro. I can do a lot with 5. Grow that shii so fast. Plus I am easily satisfied and can live on minimal expenditure. If anyone wants to drop me 5 for Christmas...

It is enough to retire. Rule of thumb; you can spend 5% of your invested money per year and not run out. 5% of 5 million is $250,000 a year. Not big money to those people, but a damn comfortable retirement.

150k per year at .03. Which needs to be conservative so it lasts the rest of your life. Not a luxury lifestyle at all

5m invested is absolutely enough to live off of, forever, and the net value will still go up.

Isn’t that 180k a year tax free if it was just invested in 6m treasury bills? Seems hard not to retire with that much money

clip from HBO's Succession (Season 1, Episode 2) where Logan Roy and associates mock $5 million as a "nightmare" inheritance, satirizing the disconnect of the ultra-rich from average wealth perceptions.

With $5M invested in RE construction, I can make $5M every 12-15 months. But I doubt Greg has any real skill.
