I always say "Thank you" to delivery agents. Once a Swiggy delivery guy took my kindness for granted & started demanding I pay him tips. When I declined, he started to argue that he came from far & he deserves it. It wasn't about what he asked but how he asked coz I was soft

This is what happens when you are genuinely kind to people for no reason. Because in a low trust society like ours, if someone is nice to you, he is either weak or wants something.

"Just move abroad" is the reason why people who want to change India for good are moving abroad to save themselves from India. No one wants to deal with corrupt politicians and bureaucracy.

“Move abroad”…..where Indians were first warmly welcomed, we are now being looked down upon. Our obnoxious behaviour is closing doors, even in countries that once held us in high esteem. We take this same mindset abroad and mess it up. But, I could be wrong!!! Or am I??

This advice is only applicable when dealing with trashy low class people

We can never tell. People in rich societies treat their security guards like trash, and those same guards often treat the maids in the very same society the exact same way. Hierarchy has a funny way of reproducing itself.

This is so true The same is true across all sectors This is not a issue of rich , poop , educated , uneducated etc This behavior is common across all spectrums All Indians will only do something when they feel fear or threatened from a higher power Otherwise nothing gets done

Yes, and the employers in India have cracked this code, thus the pressure is extreme. Result? Toxic work culture.

💯 toxic Nothing constructive or creative can be achieved in India because India is dominated by those who only work under threat and fear and under command of powerful postion people So anyone with a creative idea will be left stranded Sad state

Best example is how police treat a soft spoken, law abiding middle class guy and a an uneducated local goon/corporator or a low level politician.

Yes. If you are middle class, be rude to police, they will listen to you. If you are some poor guy, jee huzuri is required. Never really understood the concept.

@TheSaneMind The moment police figure you have no power youre screwed, poor& rich have lobby you dont

@Ankarism Very fkn true

This is why Singapore kept the British tradition of flogging as a legal punishment.

Elaborate, please.

"...or f#ck it, just move abroad."

My experience exactly when I was working in Mumbai.

Please share.

then most of these guys comes abroad and start playing same game here. one such guy fucking my team culture and keep on moving to my team - whichever team i joins..he follows and fuck my team culture . i hate to say this- but i hate indian at work , despite being an indian..

I realized this 15 yrs back and moved the only regret I have is I did not do it sooner. 🤷

LoL people finding out india rewards power not merit

This shit is why I am not coming back. I like to live with my humanity intact when I die and not let the country to curropt me therefore I left India.

It is everywhere, not only in India. That’s how world works ..

Agree however don't know if moving abroad is a good idea and implentable by a lot of people. Finding a niche is important for those who stay back. Like find yourself your safe place somehow.

VERY very True. Sad truth

Money offcourse money pesa pheko dekho 1 ghnta wala kaam 1 min me done 🤪🤪

Money brings you power, power brings you more money. A never ending loop.

D”accord 🤛🏻

Brother, I understood this a couple years back and since then I have been debating with myself about this dilemma. Become powerful in whatever way or live authentically chasing my dreams. No matter how many times I tell myself, it's not worth it. The situations always remind

When you are in position of power you are still not treated fairly! You have unfair advantage and power over those less powerful than you and they treat you unfairly begrudgingly. But, 100% on other points, make a note what he says about society runs on the fear of consequence

This bro spot on 👍🏻👍🏻

Very well said

This is because of Hinduism

This behavior is mostly seen in T1 cities where everyone is cut off from family & community while copying the behavior of all the chhapris from the West. Go to T2/T3 cities where Bhartiyas live with their family & run their own business instead of jobbing, you'll see the reality.

Sad and accurate. India has such potential. If only they could free themselves from this trap.

Bahar Jake goyyim ban jao😂😂 coz wahan tumhari wahi aukat hai. Bhai you are just ragebait. Most of the people are border line decent. If you know what it means. Morals have no place for tit for tat. Someone cooked you don't mean being decent is not good.

99% true

And incorrect 1% would be?

Accurate

mein to please bhi aise bolta hu jaise order de rha hu. it's a win-win ngl 😁

The video is a fucking truthnuke

India can be fixed but it badly needs a dictator and harsh laws

But why? Because those in power know that for 90% of India gaining that much power or money is next to impossible. IAS is rude, Stars are rude, Rich money is rude.Same reason. You can never gain that status ever if you are not there already!! Opportunity to rise are limited.

When I first flew to Bangladesh, I had this experience. A stewardess announced coffee was being served and everyone grabbed their cups, jumped up at her and started screaming. I was shocked at the behaviour. She offered me some first, over the din, but I politely declined.

You missed to add one more. Power and Judiciary.
