Using the card is a bit sus but if somebody brought me my wallet I have no problem paying for their gas.

I think it’s good. He saved the owner some stress my returning it. Someone else could have taken and commit a crime, but leave the person’s ID there. He did take some $20 as his own gas fee and Netflix subscription. It’s a win win situation for both of them

Obviously a skit, but if someone returned my wallet and took $20 in the process, I wouldn't be bothered. If they returned it personally without stealing, I'd probably offer them $50 as a thank you.

It has been long been established that if you find someone's wallet, as long as you return it with all the ID, personals & Cards in tact... The cash is yours. If you ever lost your wallet you know the cash is the least valuable thing inside of it 🤷🏿‍♂️
