this was not an earned win. Ash using a team of new pokemon only aside from Pikachu was stupid. Leon swept both Alain and Diantha but Ash somehow won? Yeah that is awful writing and plot armor. Ash should of lost to Steven because he had no business battling champions.

I get Charizard is a flying type but Ash still putting too much faith and work on a 20 year old Pikachu. Little the little mother fucker retire and bring out a real competitor.
