Bro, this visa application process is very irritating 🥴😄

Visa is a caste system. A homeless guy from the US with a passport can land in Europe without any visa. But an accomplished individual from India may not get a visa at all.

Thanks to other Indians who stay illegally etc we are forced upon these rules. Not to mention our population

Spoke my mind - most delightful part of the process is endless clarifications even after submitting tons of documentation. Cherry on top? Warm welcoming vibe at immigration - with that look “who the hell invited you here?”

And the fact that I have to say explicitly in my cover letter "I intend to return to India after my trip". Why they think that I will want to live in their sans bum-shower land getting constipated for longer than 2 weeks?

I've never understood the giving bank statement for tourist visa either. Like, boss, if I don't have the money, only I'll suffer. Why do u care? And its high time Indians demand a respectful visa process. No making people wait outside in the sun/rain like the US embassy does.

ITR details should ideally be not necessary but bank statements plainly ensure that the subject tourist has the capacity to manage his/her expenses while in that country (even if robbed)
