@PubHistoryTours Very interesting. With the exception of the chemist's, all the small shops are gone. I had almost forgotten that forty years ago, the big banks all had two branches each in Bromley, one at the top of the High Street, another at the southern end.

@PubHistoryTours I remember it then. London's dullest suburb. Awful place. Hopefully better these days but I doubt it. Thankfully I've never had to go back.
