They’ve just cherry-picked the bits that suit their 'click bait' And they should read it because he isn’t just talking about “family drama” or some silly celebrity spat. He’s describing something much darker. Control, press manipulation, character management, disrespect towards his wife and humiliation around their wedding. He says he stayed silent for years and tried to keep things private but his parents and 'their team' continued feeding stories to the press and controlling the narrative. Presenting the 'perfect family' brand while privately things were deteriorating. He claims his relationship with Nicola was undermined from before they even married and that she’s been repeatedly disrespected. He even describes them inviting women from his past into their lives deliberately to make things uncomfortable. He also describes the wedding itself as being hijacked in a way that left him humiliated. But the standout line is this. He says he lived with overwhelming anxiety for years and since stepping away from his family that anxiety has gone. That isn’t 'a feud' That is a trauma response. When someone says their anxiety disappears the moment they create distance, that usually points to a long pattern of emotional pressure and walking on eggshells. Years of being managed, controlled, guilted, or made responsible for other people’s feelings. And it’s telling that he repeatedly stresses 'I’m not being controlled. I’m choosing peace. I’m standing up for myself' People don’t usually feel the need to say that unless they’ve been controlled before. Whether people like Brooklyn or not is irrelevant. If any ordinary person wrote that you wouldn’t call it drama. You’d recognise it as someone finally stepping away from a toxic dynamic and protecting their mental health and general well being. #brooklynbeckham
