nice idea but 'taste' isn't something you bolt on. it's a judgment call that changes per context. reducing generic UIs with a skill is a bandaid - what happens when every agent uses the same taste skill and everything looks same again?

It doesn’t work, used two of the skills it has with 3 models and it didn’t change anything. One skill was the redesign one all it did in 14 pages was change spacing of one element 😂

Neat approach - the unlock here is giving the agent an evaluation criterion, not just generation ability. Agents get good when they can judge their own output, not only produce it. Self-eval is the real edge. Built something similar -

Solid list. The quiet gap: Grok Build rarely shows up in these “popular agents” roundups. Not losing a bake-off — just not invited. If the list is meant to map what people actually build with, that absence shapes the narrative as much as anything on it.

Cool addition, gives agents a quick UI polish layer. I’ve seen similar tricks work best when the base code is already clean. Keep the prompt tight for consistent results

Has anyone stress-tested it on a non-landing-page surface yet? forms, dashboards, the stuff that doesn't have a hero image to carry the look

Better-looking output is a starting point, not an acceptance test. Compare it with a reference at mobile width, check contrast and focus states, and run the core interaction flow. Otherwise “better taste” is just a style preset, not a reliable UI workflow.

been seeing this problem a lot. agents can build fast but taste still needs a good system behind it

taste is the real gap right now. agents ship working uis but they all look like the same template. curious if it holds up on dense app layouts or mostly landing pages?

honestly curious if it actually moves the needle or just makes AI-generated stuff look less obviously AI-generated for like 5 seconds

Most generated UIs are technically fine. They just look like every component library made the decision at once 😂 Taste is a very good name for the missing layer.
