Of course, this needs to be a supportive space and container. These used to be all around even. Whether that was at the local YMCA where it was mandatory to NOT wear clothes while in the pool. Or, after gym class in middle school and high school where it was the normal thing to take a shower around the center shower head after gym class. Or professional athletes taking post competition pool dips to celebrate their victory and recover for the next match. Or by the river on a hot sunny day when you all forgot your trunks. This was normal and men were vital, healthy, strong and resilient. Now, dudes are so afraid (due to societal conditioning and a myriad of other things - maybe I’ll save that for another time??). And I am not here to shame you for, rather make light of the situation and silliness because it is such a NATURAL state for us to be in and when we find that healthy and supportive container to do so (whether in person or online) we remember. We remember the power of our Ancient Greek ancestors. We remember how they wrestled and trained nude, did pelvic floor exercises in the bath houses together. I often hear people tell me how great they feel after a workout, how it leaves a smile on their face, and brings the stress level of life down to a tolerable level. I have been told by many of my gym members that working out is like therapy for them, how great it feels to move...well let me tell ya , if you think you feel great as an adult after a bout of vigorous movement how the hell do you think children feel? Children who are chock full of boundless energy, with developing brains and bodies and an emotional system that can often change from high to low and back again in a matter of minutes. I can tell you that children need movement much more than any adult ever could. Kids get stressed out, too, while their worries may seem trivial to our super important adult worries. To them, they are very important. The problem is that not all children see the big picture or have the experiences yet to know everything is going to be ok. It's because of this that children need movement and lots of it. It makes them feel better, improves their focus, burns off that nervous energy, and allows them to gain a sense of self and learn their surroundings. But what do we with children, just the opposite: we shorten recess, increase class time,take away physical education, music and art, take one minute tests, 20 minute tests, standardized tests, mid-terms and on and on. we fence them in, lock them down, sit them in front of a box with pictures... If you have children or have the pleasure to work with children, understand that movement/exercise/play goes way beyond just having fun, it is literally the life blood of childhood. No amount of learning ever takes place without some form of movement that has laid down the connections in the brain. Also, the more happy experiences children have, the better chance they will be happy adults. If you have access to kids, get them moving, move in the classroom, move at home, move outside, just move. Chase each other, give high fives, jump, spin, roll, hop, yell, wrestle, and have fun... My Playground 👇

With Bheem Army support, MIM has formed the government, and Asaduddin Owaisi has become the Prime Minister. Six months earlier, former Prime Minister Narendra Modi had retired from politics. As soon as the Muslim government was formed under Owaisi’s leadership, India was declared an Islamic nation, which was their main election promise. Temples across the country are being demolished, and mosques are being constructed rapidly. Meanwhile, Pakistan and China have jointly attacked India. Soldiers are dying at the borders, while a terrible civil war is raging inside the country. Law and order has completely fallen into the hands of Muslims. Hindus are being slaughtered in the streets. (The dying people recall that back in 2015, they were cursing Modi just because pulses and petrol were expensive.) Slum-dwelling Muslims are forcibly occupying bungalows, Hindu girls from wealthy families are being made concubines, or sold in markets. The so-called “Hindu” leaders who had kept Hindus tied to secularism some have now converted to Islam, while others have fled abroad with their billions. But the middle-class and poor Hindus are left to be devoured. Their wives and daughters are being raped and killed on the roads or turned into concubines, while boys are mutilated. Do you see how terrifying this picture looks even when imagined? This is not just imagination. The same things happened in Kashmir in 1990. Ask the 3,545 Kashmiri Pandits who survived what happened to 700,000 Kashmiri Hindus, their parents, sisters, daughters, and homes on January 19, 1990? Do not be foolish. You have got a Hindu Prime Minister in the form of Modi ji. Let him work. Do not attack him for everything. “He is not a Hindu who does not love his motherland.” This message is not just for reading. I am awakening some of you; you awaken the rest. Because our life and honor lie in Hindi, Hindu, and Hindustan. Historical reminders of atrocities on Hindus by invaders: 1.I have not forgotten Alauddin Khilji, because of whom Queen Padmini and 14,000 women committed self-immolation to protect their honor. 2.I have not forgotten Aurangzeb, who tortured Sambhaji Maharaj to death for refusing to accept Islam. 3.I have not forgotten Tipu Sultan, who massacred lakhs of Hindus in a single day. 4.I have not forgotten Shah Jahan, who raped a 14-year-old Brahmin girl in his palace. 5.I have not forgotten Babur, who demolished the temple of Lord Ram and slaughtered countless Hindus. 6.I have not forgotten Sikander Lodi, who broke the idol of Goddess Durga at Jwalamukhi temple and gave its pieces to butchers to use as weights. 7.I have not forgotten Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who stripped Sanyogita naked and threw her before Mughal soldiers for refusing to convert to Islam. 8.I have not forgotten Wazir Khan, who entombed Guru Gobind Singh’s two young sons, Fateh Singh (7 years) and Zorawar Singh (5 years), alive for refusing Islam. 9.I have not forgotten Wazir Khan again, who burned Banda Bairagi’s skin with hot iron rods until his bones were visible, yet he did not accept Islam. 10.I have not forgotten Aurangzeb, who pierced Sambhaji Maharaj’s eyes with red-hot irons, tore his skin from his body, and yet Sambhaji never left Hinduism. 11.I have not forgotten Akbar, who beheaded the 72-year-old father of Hemu for refusing to convert to Islam. 12.I have not forgotten Aurangzeb, who sawed Bhai Mati Das in half in a public square for refusing to embrace Islam. Bong Joon-ho on the "American-bashing" in 'The Host' (2006) & why he was surprised by the film's success: "Cineaste: Why did you put so much political subtext into 'The Host' (2006)? Do Korean audiences like that? Bong Joon-ho: It’s fun for me to bury my political comments here and there in a film, but this is also part of the tradition of the monster or sci-fi genre. It was a double blessing for me to convey some political commentary in the film and have it work within a genre. For instance, the opening scene, when the two scientists are pouring chemicals into the Han River refers to an actual event that took place six years ago. But at the same time it’s a very typical monster movie opening. So for me it was great to hit both at the same time. It’s not like I’m putting raw social commentary in the film. It is integrated into the entertainment value of the film. Some Koreans believe that 'The Host' (2006) is a moving family story; others say, “Wow, we’re totally bashing America!” But there are more of the former. Cineaste: Is there a lot of “America bashing” in Korean films? Bong Joon-ho: Some films do to some extent, once in a while. But to quote a famous Korean critic: “This is Korea’s first legitimate anti-American film.” And she gave me four stars. Cineaste: Perhaps this may start a trend in Korean films. Bong Joon-ho: It would be hard for this to become a trend. When The Host first came out, some critics said that by drawing America in this satiric way, the film would limit its appeal to mass audiences, that the satire would make them uncomfortable. 040826 | #CHANYEOL IG LIVE “ Wait, no one’s doing a live for anniversary? The members aren’t doing it? That’s kind of disappointing… Anyway, we’ve reached our 14th debut anniversary now. Wow 14 years. It sounds like just a number, but it feels really strange. First of all, I want to say thank you so much for loving us so consistently over these 14 years. Honestly, rather than us being the ones receiving congratulations, I feel like I want to congratulate you instead. Congratulations! It’s been 14 years, it’s our 14th anniversary! And these days, well, not the day after tomorrow, but in three days . . . wait, actually it is the day after tomorrow, right? The concert starts the day after tomorrow. Today we even went somewhere far and rented a really big hall to rehearse the stage movements. We practiced a lot together today, sang a lot too. Yesterday, the day before yesterday, we’ve just been stuck together, practicing nonstop. So I hope you’re really looking forward to this concert too, and once again, happy 14th anniversary. I think it’s going to be really fun. The members have been dropping spoilers and stuff, but for me . . . it’s really because you’ve been there for us that we were able to reach this 14th anniversary. It feels kind of amazing. Over these 14 years of promoting, meeting you all like this and while preparing for this concert, I’ve been thinking a lot about the past. Honestly, preparing for this concert feels the same as when we did one 10 years ago, so even the process and the members, it all feels kind of strange and surreal. This American needs to lead the Department of Education “This is my audition to become the head of the US Department of Education - My first act of office will be immediately abolishing the No Child Left Behind Act. Yes, we will be leaving children behind. If they fail a class, they will have to repeat it - My second act is one that I'm very passionate about. We will be bringing zeros back. If you don't know, in many schools in the US right now, students receive 40% or 50% if they do zero work, if they do not complete an assignment. And my school included, and many other schools, are not going to be allowed to give a student a 50% if they do not turn in any work. They will have to receive a zero. Likewise, there will be no completion grades, If you just attempt an assignment, that doesn't mean you get a 55%. Like, if you get a 1 out of 10, you earned a 10% on that assignment, and that's okay. Sometimes failing happens, and we don't need to just inflate the grades just for fun. Grades will reflect students' actual performance and understanding of the content - The third one I'm very excited for as well. Teacher evaluations will take place once a year and teachers will be observed by another current teacher from a different school. Teachers would volunteer to be evaluators. They would get a sub for the day, no questions asked, and then they would evaluate objectively. That way the person evaluating you does not know you and does not have any personal bias towards you. Hopefully. - The fourth one, I think this should be common sense, but I hear that it happens all the time at some schools. Never at mine. But teachers shouldn't be expected to work for free. I hear elementary teachers are doing these before and after work things that they aren't getting paid for, like lunch duty or recess duty or pickup duty, whatever it is. The school needs those things covered. People can volunteer for it, and then they have to get paid for it. They can't force you to cover other people's classes for free. They have to pay you extra if they're gonna take away your lunch or your prep or whatever time that is supposed to be yours and then force you to do something without getting paid. There will be no more voluntelling. Hire this woman. The most important thing we need to do is hold students back and force them to learn the work. No more dumbing down out standards

Vibe Coding a AAA game with threejs Day 10: Deep dive into world authoring What started as a "i need terrain to build a racing game" slowly evolved to an open world Take a last look at the buildings, because they are getting kicked out next for some really good ones (i don't know how yet, but i'm confident gpt will tell me, but i feel like blender will be involved, ughhh) Anyways, fully reworked the road system, it is now a graph and junctions, bridges, elevations etc. are first class. Previous demos were filled with me carefully placing the race tracks, deleting them, placing them again, and again, until they were okay to show for a demo. Not so fun behind the camera! It's now basically using a very similar system to cities skylines 2, which has really nailed the perfect UX to build road systems. It's also much more flexible now and i believe the world editor can be used for much more than racing games: Rail networks (train game?) or maybe a 3rd person open world game? or actually another cities skylines? who knows, feels like i got a moat on the web now We'll see, after yesterday i've received lots of requests to open source it Which i may actually do at any time if i feel like it, but not for now. There's so many interesting problems with world modeling, i feel like i finally found a rabbit hole worth diving into for a long time! Might have to delay the human designer app until the point where i need humans in the city, we'll see, it'll all eventually come together - it always does Anyways, not gatekeeping, if you have ANY questions on how i solve things, feel free to ask!
