Bruce Meyer, the MLBPA's interim Executive Director, appeared on a panel last week at the 2026 Sports Lawyers Association's annual conference in Chicago. As negotiations toward a new Collective Bargaining Agreement get under way, Meyer outlined the Players' long-held opposition to a salary cap in baseball.
