For years and years, John Leguizamo claimed to be half Puerto Rican. After he was honored at the Puerto Rican Day parade in 2011 and told reporters his father was from Aguadilla, his father publicly contradicted him, saying the family is Colombian and has no connection to Puerto Rico. For those who knew Seth, he was far more than a pilot or an officer in uniform. He was a husband, a father, a son, a brother, and a friend whose presence filled the lives of the people around him with love and strength. Seth grew up dreaming of becoming a pilot. That dream eventually became a life of service, one he carried with pride every time he put on his uniform. Those close to him say he loved what he did and felt honored to serve others through his work in the Air Force. But the people who knew him best remember something even greater than his career. They remember a man who was loving, generous, and kind-hearted. A man who always looked for ways to help others. rewatching ep 4 for the nth time and I think this is going to be one of those scenes that stays with me for a very long time😭it isn’t just Pete crying, he completely breaks down like full sobbing, barely holding himself together, curling into a ball of grief hiding himself in the blanket like years of pain finally poured out at once. When you think about everything we know about Pete, he’s just 24, yet he’s been emotionally exhausted for years. His gang is younger than him, meaning he can’t really share anything with them. His sister neglects him, and the way he talks about his relatives makes it obvious that his family life is filled with distance rather than care😔 It’s the first time Pete has ever talked about his past, not running from it but actually saying it out loud while someone quietly listens to him. Niran doesn’t interrupt Pete or try to comfort him. He looks composed the whole time, but I can feel his emotions through the silence, the sigh, the way he listens. He is simply lying there but it’s a safe space for Pete to unravel, which is why Pete later says that people feel at ease around Niran. It’s not cuz Niran is affectionate, it’s cuz he says things as they are and that helps Pete feel like he can be himself around him, even at his most broken moment. The scene before where he was furious with Pete, he’s not judging Pete’s life, he’s just giving him the hard truth. He doesn’t sugarcoat things, but he also doesn’t invalidate Pete’s pain. Instead, he’s trying to make Pete realize that his life has value, but he’s letting anger, recklessness and negative emotions get the best of him. And for someone like Pete, who spent most of his life feeling unwanted and unseen, this kind of brutal honesty is what he needs to turn over a new leaf🥹

Today at the beach, an elderly woman approached us and asked for help with her husband, who has severe dementia and likely less than a year to live. She shared his wish to surf one last time, like he did in his youth. My family and friends immediately stepped in to make his dream come true. We helped him ride a wave, and the pure joy on his face was unforgettable. It was a deeply moving moment, and I’m so proud of everyone for turning his final wish into reality.

This particular video of Trump arriving home last night, with his tie in hand, after a full day of campaigning, really gets me. He doesn’t have to be doing any of this. He gave up so much to endure non-stop abuse, backstabbing, lies, slander, targeting of his family, attempts on his life, and general bullsh-t; and yet there always seems to be a critic out there. He does all this because he knows what this country and its people are capable of, he loves them and wants them to experience the country of opportunity he grew up in; a country that is a force for good.

This particular video of Trump arriving home last night, with his tie in hand, after a full day of campaigning, really gets me. He doesn’t have to be doing any of this. He gave up so much to endure non-stop abuse, backstabbing, lies, slander, targeting of his family, attempts on his life, and general bullsh-t; and yet there always seems to be a critic out there. He does all this because he knows what this country and its people are capable of, he loves them and wants them to experience the country of opportunity he grew up in; a country that is a force for good.

some reflections from wonbin during recent fansigns... lately, he’s been so vulnerable about his growth and journey since debut. it’s heart-wrenching yet so meaningful to see him open up about his worries like this. during the fansign yesterday, he asked, “what i want to say might sound boring, but since you’ve seen me for a long time, what do you think of me now? am i different? have i changed?” he was clearly looking for reassurance from a fan who has been there since day one. he brought it up again during today’s fansign. he mentioned that while there are many new briize, he was specifically curious about the thoughts of the fans who have been watching him since debut. it’s clear how much he values the perspective of those who’ve witnessed his growth. wonbin… if the path you were taking was wrong, i wouldn’t love you this much, so please don't worry! seeing him so introspective only proves how much he cares about his sincerity. he hasn’t changed, he just continues to grow into the person we were always so proud to support 🩷

He didn’t even grow up here. He was born in New Jersey simply because his parents were there at the time, but was immediately taken back to Turkey, where everyone is raised hating America, Christians and Jews. He was already an adult when he moved back to the U.S. He’s not even a product of domestic radicalization, since his entire worldview was shaped by his Islamic Turkish upbringing.

UPDATE The man in the video has now come forward and provided the following video to explain what he brought into Mitch Sylvester's store. Information that I have received includes - He avoided calls from the RCMP for several weeks - He left the store with the item - He is claiming it was just a misunderstanding - The RCMP still has an open investigation - Charges could still be filed - There was one item, not two as previously reported If this was infact the item he brought into the store along with his "This is for Mitch" message, this is hands down the dumbest thing anyone can do to the employees of the store, and to Mitch directly. There still is an active investigation as showing staff a bullet, or a pen that looks like a bullet, uttering a threat, and not responding to the RCMP for weeks, is still grounds for criminal charges. Thank you to the dozens of people who did recognize the man, and provided tips.

Imagine opening up about your life and your experiences, only for those same experiences to become something someone uses to ridicule you. So when Biggie asked Yusuf about his connections in the house, what exactly was he supposed to call that? Was he supposed to pretend everything was perfect? Was he supposed to describe a connection as deep when he personally didn't feel that depth? Yusuf was answering a question about HIS experience. He never said they were bad people. In fact, he specifically acknowledged that they were good people. He simply said he didn't enjoy having certain conversations with them because he felt they didn't connect with him on a deeper level. And somehow, that has been twisted into Yusuf believing he is better than everyone else. It is even more painful because Yusuf has never pretended to come from a life of privilege. When these Housemates sit down and talk about their lives, their families, their relationships, their struggles and their experiences, Yusuf is allowed to talk about his own life too. If your life has been easier, beautiful. If you have had opportunities Yusuf didn't have, beautiful. If you didn't have to struggle for certain things, you are blessed. But please don't assume that because you didn't experience something, somebody else must be lying about experiencing it. Yusuf has spoken about where he comes from because it is part of his story.
