If his role isn’t to control games, then he shouldn’t be dropping into space like a deep lying playmaker just to spam balls. Chance creation is not a role, it has never been a role. Chances created is a product of play making. Fullbacks, wingers and dms creates the most chances

You really need to respect @FlexUTD it's the job of everyone to control the game, even goalkeepers control games by trying to slow things down when they get the ball to choose possession or a quick attack Simply because it's about thinking about what's best for the team..

Bruno's job is to spam balls upfront in the name of chance creation even when there is nobody to receive the ball.....

The role of a 10 is to create chances, but the very first role every player needs to follow is to not give away the ball carelessly in their own half when they can play a simple pass

Bruno is the captain , yes his job is to control games ...don't forget about the armband...can't just play his position only..he wanted this role he has to accept what goes with it. There is no moving the goal post on this. Make your team mates better and competitive

Agree but sometimes bruno drops deep and loses the ball that’s what I find infuriating. Don’t mind if he’s losing the ball in the opposition box trying to pick out a teammate but against Hull he was doing these dummies over the ball without looking whose around him

Bruno's job was NEVER to control games, his role is nothing like Scholes or any deeper midfielder for that matter. Bruno's role is most similar to Muller,Alli,Dybala,Griezmann type players, different styles but they all play around the frontline and and work in the final third

The fundamental part you’re missing from this is that whilst Bruno’s job is to create at the top end of the pitch the issue with him is that he drops into deep areas of the pitch where he forces play. He lacks positional discipline which is where people’s complaints are from

When we shop for a GK, people say some1 good with their feet is a must. A FB who can attack space & create chances etc A striker who can score, link up play etc. Bro FOOTBALL HAS EVOLVED & so has Roles. A keeper is not just to prevent goals, a FB/CB is not Just to defend etc

But then we lose a body in midfield, which is why we haven't won a midfield battle in years

If he just stayed in his position and created from the 10 then that's fine. But when he's having a bad game, he starts running all over and trying to be involved in every single phase of play. When you do that and don't change how you play, you nuke your teams chance of winning.

That doesn't mean you spam balls from anywhere on the pitch. The best 10s in the history of the game has always been the best technical player on the pitch and knows when to make the right pass with the right weight. Bruno is just kicking balls anywhere and everywhere.

His role isnt to lose ball and hoof it around either. His role is to create, thats not trying ping balls all the time
