He seems to start out wide and penetrate inside (i.e. similar as Amad). I have yet to see him playing in the half spaces back to goal characteristic of a R10. Granted, mb it is the system and instructions deployed at Brentford. Like I noticed Amad is also not as effective receiving the ball and half space back to goal & more effective starting out wide and cutting in + isolating fullback. This doesn't even take into account the absence of both amad + mbeumo during Afcon. This is why Cherki makes more sense + he is right footed. Only problem is his OOP. Need Henderson + wijnaldum MF pair to accomodate cunha + cherki + amad (at rwb). Mbeumo 1. Pro: PL proven, arguably better OOP, more PnP(?) 2. Cons: Similar playstyle as Amad, Afcon, costly , not really suited to R10 Cherki 1. Pros: More suited to R10, no Afcon commitments, cheaper, is actually right footed which compliments well if Amad is deployed RWB 2. Cons: OOP, not PL proven
