He also become just the 2nd reserve player to win the team event after filling in for Paul Casey, who has a wrist injury, on Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC as they won their 10th title, the most by any team on the league. He spoke about the experience this week: “It was wild. I was back in Sydney over the weekend hanging with some friends, celebrating, a bit of a party sort of weekend, which I don't normally do, so I was quite hungover. I got the call that I'd be reserve on Sunday and I was like, all right, sweet, I'll get on a flight as soon as I can. “Came in Tuesday, got up really early Wednesday to play nine holes in a pro-am in the rain and kind of passed by Bryson and he was like, hey, man, we're choosing you this week. I kind of thought that he meant he's choosing me as the fill-in guy if someone pulls out. I hadn't heard that Paul had hurt his wrist. “I felt bad for about two and a half hours because I wasn't quite sure if I was actually playing and the fact that I may have just brushed Bryson when he told me that I'm in. “It's just been a whirlwind of a week. He also said he didn’t think Bryson deserved the penalty: “I thought the fans were very supportive of Bryson today. Jim Breuer says that his old friend Dave Chapelle went to him in private and told him about how an elite group of people came to him and sat him down to "correct him" and that was right before he suddenly vanished and went to Africa. He says he no longer communicated with him say in the same way after he came back and wonders what really happened... Who visited him? I'd be curious to hear the names.
