Bryson DeChambeau tells Pat McAfee about his disappointment in not being eligible to play in the upcoming Paris Olympics. In golf, players qualify for the Olympics through the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), with a maximum of four golfers from a single country. DeChambeau is No. 10 in the OWGR, but the sixth-ranked American. He is not able to accumulate OWGR points through LIV Golf tournaments.

LIV Golf have agreed a strategic partnership with Salesforce to launch a “new era of fan and player experiences” rolling out the rest of the season. Bryson DeChambeau says: “We are excited about a long, impactful future ahead for LIV Golf, buoyed by our ability to welcome and engage a broader, more diverse global audience.” Among the activations will be on course branding and the Saleforce logo on caddie bibs. Of the new features the Agent Caddie will deliver predictive shot outcomes, optimal golf strategies, contextual stats, and narrative cues directly in LIV Golf broadcasts – enabling richer, more data-driven live coverage.

The Asian Tour has officially partnered with the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, creating more uncertainty around the future of LIV Golf. The International Series, LIV Golf’s pathways system, had elevated events and taken top stars around the world via the Asian circuit. Last year, Bryson DeChambeau played in India to become the first reigning major champion for decades to visit the country. LIV Golf have offered no comment at this time. Story below from Evin Priest

Once again, players appear to have not been informed of what’s going on. Despite me reporting it a month ago, Thomas Pieters and the LIV Golf communications team spoke about the rings at yesterday’s press conference in Indianapolis and they appear to be expecting to receive them.
