The US Bitcoin Reserve Bill likely won’t pass in 2025 - big initiatives like this take years. It proposes buying 1M BTC over 5 years and holding for 20+, but taxpayer support is unlikely. With 23K BTC already seized (~1% supply), the US is the largest holder - without calling it a reserve. Compare this to 8,100+ tons of gold (~4% supply) - the BTC-to-gold ratio seems balanced.
