The 1.5 km drive from Dalgate to Nehru Park is now a 40-minute drive due to permanent traffic jam, huge tourist rush and the successive Governments' lack of will to widen Boulevard to a 4-lane road.

This is a pivotal moment for Mumbai’s underground mobility network. We have substantially completed the reconstruction of Tam Balogun Road in Ijebu-Ode, with all major asphalt works now finished under our administration’s ongoing drive to strengthen road infrastructure across Ogun State. The project is currently at about 98% completion, with only lane markings left to be carried out. With both the binder and final wearing courses in place, the road is fully motorable and already improving movement, safety, and travel time for residents and road users. This is the moment our crews reached a driver stranded in a pickup truck that had gone off the road and into a retention pond near Jerimoth Drive and Cuddington Drive. With the cab taking on water, the driver climbed into the bed of the truck and waited as firefighters worked in the dark, in cold water, to bring them to safety. The driver was freed at 8:25 p.m., and the rescue was completed just minutes later. This is what real-time decision making looks like. This is teamwork under pressure. Cybercab is starting to get a lot more interesting! Jo Bhakdi points to new footage from Giga Texas showing Cybercabs rolling off the line, with some apparently without steering wheels. We’ve also now seen Starlink built directly into Cybercab, opening the door to 4K streaming and high-speed connectivity on the road. At this point, the bigger question may not be whether Cybercab can drive itself, it’s how fast Tesla can build and deploy these things at scale. $TSLA

Fantasies come true in Las Vegas. Had to get the flap underneath my Tesla Model 3 fixed. It finally failed on the drive to Vegas yesterday (my car is lowered so give that more abuse than usual). Service made me a deal. They would give me a Cybertruck while they fixed it. So we took it on a pretty road in Nevada. After a long drive to get to Valley of Fire State Park where I drove manually up. FSD down. Pretended we were on Mars in a robot. I have been interviewing Cybertruck owners and they all love theirs. I see why now. Smooths out all of life’s difficulties. It is the first all software driven vehicle. In it human is not linked to the wheels. This makes a long road trip or a U-turn way easier. And nicer. Thank you Tesla for making my fantasies come true. SCOTTeVEST Scott Jordan took me in his Ferrari on this road. The Ferrari is more fun to drive. But harder. And it can’t drive you so you can enjoy the very wild scenery. And on the ride up the Cybertruck is superior. What a fun day! Tomorrow going to hang out with healthcare/medical nerds.

The Great Lakes region and New York is literally choking on Canadian wildfire smoke right now. This Canadian woman just answered the question everyone’s asking: “Why is Canada always on fire?? This is like the 6th year in a row.” Her explanation: “We used to have indigenous fire starters who could light a fire and control it on an entire mountain. They’d do prescribed burns so there wouldn’t be crazy forest fires. Britain is on the Brink Teenage Boy Arrested As Bomb Squad Descends On The Quiet Seaside Town of Margate Rosedale Road, Glencoe Road, Wharfedale Road and Malham Drive in Margate were closed off after police were called at about 4pm on Wednesday. Inside the police cordon, the EOD squad, a team from the Ministry of Defence, carried out a controlled explosion to make a suspicious item safe. The team completed enquiries at around midnight and determined it was safe for residents to return to their properties.
