A UPS driver’s excitement over his first paycheck could hardly be contained. Yoel Diaz said he was so excited because he could barely fill his refrigerator before immigrating from Cuba. Now, he lives in Phoenix, Arizona, and his fridge is full. "This is my first hourly paycheck that I feel every hour counted," he said in the video. "That every hour of work has importance in my life and that I know I can work hard for something. I can't compare that emotion with anything. Because I never had that in my country." He stated, he's "grateful" to be in the United States. "When you have this for the first time, your head explodes and say, 'Wow, it's beautiful,'" he said. Before he came to the U.S. in 2021, Diaz was a computer science teacher in Cuba, earning $12 a month. He lamented how far ahead the U.S. was in the field. Diaz met his wife, who is Cuban American, when they were young and still living in Cuba. She'd often tell him about the realities outside of Cuba, which she believed was held back by its Communist party. They eventually married and were faced with a decision: stay or go to the U.S. Diaz said he told his wife: "We want a future, we want a family... wherever you go I go." He came to America on a K-1 visa, and when he received his work permit, he applied for a job at UPS. "I never had this much money in my hands from my effort, from my sweat, and it hurts that millions in my country and other countries can't have that," he said. "And being here, you can get it in a dignified manner."

It's why I could defend this movie against all comers, because to me, Fish's performance in this movie was comparable to a young Brando. I could have been Hamas. That was the person that they raised me to be. When October 7 happened, it was so traumatic for me, because it was not just seeing innocent beautiful people being slaughtered. My friends and co-workers, the Jewish people that I learned to love could have also been slaughtered. And more than that, it was the moment that I realized that the Holocaust was real. Because my entire life the only thing that I learned about the Holocaust was that it was ”Jewish propaganda” and it never happened. But then when I saw the slaughtering that happened, everybody clapping – people in New York, London, Malmö, celebrating the murder of Jews. That’s when it clicked for me. Suddenly all the brainwashing ended and I realized this deep antisemitism that lives not just where I come from but also in Europe and the West. I have visited Israel twice and I am in love with Israel, Jews and Israelis. I cannot tell you enough how much I love my Israeli and Jewish friends that I have made since October 7, and before. And I have promised to argue with my family and friends every day because they hate and don’t understand Israel. And even though I have lost many friends and family members, I have said that I will spend the rest of my life showing the truth of my Jewish and Israeli friends. I was fine holding my tear until the very last part that ended with them saying “I love you” in each other’s language that i just couldn’t anymore. The world was too cruel to them but at last they got to spend the end with each other. It’s so painful and bittersweet. I love it.

This man was arrested at Fort Walton Beach in Florida for being in the water. Apparently he grabbed his boogie board and sprinted into the ocean. 🌊 🏃🏻‍♂️ They had told him to get out of the water. Double Red flags were in effect. You can see that the officer had to physically take him down in the sand with help from others and handcuff him. 😳 People said that he told police and lifeguards that it was federal water and that he should be allowed to swim. Some said why can’t we live at our own risk? That he should be allowed to do what he wants. Others said they possibly saved his life and he doesn’t even know it. I have never seen that happen before, but I understand it. Have you ever witnessed this happen before, someone getting arrested for going in the water? Do you think it is a good look? Or who cares about looks, they saved his life and you have to follow the rules?

[Part 2] How I met BTS V hyungnim at the training camp: Turns out we were in the same platoon. 👤I enlisted on December 11th, and at that time, news spread that two BTS members were enlisting. It was all over the news, and there were tons of people. I went in thinking, “How would we even meet among so many people?” After saying goodbye to my parents, everyone moved out to the field, and it was time to sit on the allocated seats. I sat down, and there was one empty seat in front of me. I wondered why it was empty, and then two people walked in, almost like under a spotlight. I thought, “Ah, That must be BTS V hyungnim.” Then, they were dividing us into squads. I thought, “Could we end up in the same platoon?” And we actually did. We ended up in the same first platoon. V hyungnim was in the first platoon, first unit, and I was in the first platoon, third unit. And so that is how my training camp life with V hyung started. - continued in part 3 (

[Part 2] How I met BTS V hyungnim at the training camp: Turns out we were in the same platoon. 👤I enlisted on December 11th, and at that time, news spread that two BTS members were enlisting. It was all over the news, and there were tons of people. I went in thinking, “How would we even meet among so many people?” After saying goodbye to my parents, everyone moved out to the field, and it was time to sit on the allocated seats. I sat down, and there was one empty seat in front of me. I wondered why it was empty, and then two people walked in, almost like under a spotlight. I thought, “Ah, That must be BTS V hyungnim.” Then, they were dividing us into squads. I thought, “Could we end up in the same platoon?” And we actually did. We ended up in the same first platoon. V hyungnim was in the first platoon, first unit, and I was in the first platoon, third unit. And so that is how my training camp life with V hyung started. - continued in part 3 (
